[ABA Tutorial] Teaching Children to Wait [ABA教學] 教導孩子等待的技巧

Parent's concern:
My son is 4 years old and he has difficulties in waiting for anything. When we asked him to wait, he would throw tantrum, screaming and crying. He is always like that when couldn’t get what he wanted immediately. This really stresses me out a lot, anything I can do?
Autism Partnership Director, Mr Toby Mountjoy who's been working with children with autism for over 25 years is answering this question.
Mr. Toby Mountjoy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and holds a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. Besides working with individuals with ASD, he has also provided consultations to school districts, agencies, and families worldwide. Besides overseeing the Autism Partnership operation in Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Kuwait and Beijing, he also founded the charitable Autism Partnership Foundation and Aoi Pui School since 2007 to offer more services for children with Autism.

教導孩子等待的技巧是一個很重要的技巧，但同時，也是一個挺困難的技巧。很多幼兒，甚至是正常發展的孩子，也會有等待的問題。要他們抵受誘惑，忍耐未能馬上得到這些好玩的東西，不是一件容易的事，對部分成年人也一樣！
