I would like to get some more information especially once I get there on finding short term, living and possibly long-term living when I return.

Reading it you can tell she wanted to be really helpful and not just sell you something! There was no gate keeping at all full transparency in my opinion! If you have anxiety like me and want to prepare ahead of time get it!
By the way the DTV is often mistranslated as a Digital Nomad visa when it's not. DTV = Destination Thailand Visa, doesn't require a job or remote work. You simply have to have 500,000 baht available and show bank statement etc. That's approx $14.6k USD. You show that amt each 180 days if you renew and pay the fee again.
for those who live in bangkok looking for big size or plus size clothes and shoes you may find them in pratunam area, to be precise Platinum mall. earlier there were shops selling big size all kind of shoes even high heels opposite siam paragon for ladies with bigger feet and drags but i believe they already gone after renovating the building. hope this can give some idea

good call on the shoe size. i wear a men's 13. i applied for temporary work from thailand for a few months. i better bring shoes! last time i was there... the shoe stores in chiang mai only went up to a men's 11. 🙃

That's okay, i don't vape, i just smoke. But i didn't hear that vibraters were illegal? That's kind of scary!
