I live in Bournemouth and have been watching your channel for a while. I've lived here for 29 years. It's certainly gone downhill over the years but hasn't everywhere! You can go on the pier free during the winter. That's the only time I go on it.

Hi, Mary Shelly's Son and Wife decided to bury Mary in Bournemouth due St Pancras graveyard being in a sorry state plus with them both living close by, They then had her parents exhumed and brought to Bournemouth. Another great video.

Thanks Stephen. Great to see this. Lived in Bournemouth for 11 yrs before moving back to N west in1988. Been back couple of times since,,yes go to Sandbanks if you can, worked /lived at Sandbanks Hotel summer season 1977. Great times,

Really nice live stream but this time NOT in Blackpool. Bournemouth is a really nice place and the beaches down there are some of the best in the UK. Must have seemed strange walking around not seeing the tower or any of the piers. No trams either but they seem to have plenty of buses out in a Sunday. Nice stream👍
It was MANY years ago when I went there. The Royal Bath hotel was more grand then. It's was where I stayed for an annual works weekend. The Royal Bath used to be a De Vere hotel then and it appeared at least once in Howards Way TV series. They used to park your car for you and if during your stay you wanted something out of the car they would fetch it fir you to that doorway you were at.

I live in Bournemouth and the police helicopter is always over the beach as it helps the life guards identify anybody in trouble in the waterand no other reason The red light district Boscombe from Mcdonalds towards Bournemouth and the Mary Shelly is a terrible pub if you want to sit outside use the Moon in the square has two outside spaces.enjoyed this

If you take a bag of nuts with you in the lower garden you can just stand there and feed the squirrels they don't run off from you..a bag of nuts there is like having a bag of chips on the prom in blackpool..last time i was in the lower gardens i left the bag on the grass next to me and was surrounded by 15 or 20 nosey squirrels..there seemed less there than there was 2 or 3 years ago...
If you go to Boscombe Chine you get ambushed by the squirrels there, when we walked through a lady had them running all up her legs! Luckily she managed to get rid of them.

Thanks for the views of Bournemouth, The pictures of Harry Ramsdens brings back good memories of the one in Blackpool, but now my wife is making me take her out for Fish and Chips.

The red ànd blue buses were originally red, and there were both Wilts and Dorset and Hants and Dorset red buses when I was growing up. The park is lower gardens.The stream is the bourne stream and at one time you could jump from one side to the other, and someone sailed a yacht down it..many years ago. Go to Christchurch tomorrow maybe? The market is on, and there are both the Priory and a ducking stool to see.

Thanks Stephen . Great as always. Remember staying in a Hotel many Moons ago.With my parents when I was about 7. The Durley Dean. Had a really dark indoor swimming pool. There was a woman staying with one arm swimming in the pool. My imagination ran wild . I wouldn't go in the pool. Was convinced there were sharks in it lol.That was about 40 yrs ago.

Nice video captured history Real life love your work and i think in 100years from now they will look back on you videos and be amazed haw things changed when cars are a thing of the pasted and the world is a different place I just wonder if these places will even exist if you look back at Bournemouth in the 1930s and how much it changed righting history

Go out on a Saturday night. Just as many stags and hens as Blackpool. Often been with work. Doesn't even come close to Blackpool.
At least Brighton got a pier that resembles a pier unlike the one in Bournemouth...Blackpool unique in having 3 GREAT piers.....3 CHEERS FOR 3 PIERS...
If you visit Oxford,be aware car park charges are very expensive.Best to take a Park and Ride bus into the City Centre.

The railway from Swanage is now a restored steam engine that travels only to Corfe Castle and I think Wareham. It’s still being restored now and is really popular with tourists.

Eastbourne: tourist train along the prom and has a pier. Eastbourne is nice. Posh marina at one end.

The sun goes down later in Blackpool at this time of year. It’s more to do with Blackpool being further north than west, however.

Please please stop telling everyone to hit the like button. They will anyways so stop giving directions to the audience, we're not kids. So just stop it. Rant over. Great views, I pressed the like button but not because you said because I wanted too.
I have to keep repeating myself on livestreams because people are joining all the time. It's different to a normal video, where I only have to say it at the end.
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool no no you think you have to keep repeating yourself because you run out of stuf to say.. just try not saying it everu 10 seconds its annoying, you do the same with the word Blackpool, we know where you are when you do a video, just say it once at the beginning and end, we've read the title before clicking on so we know where you are like the last one was Bournemouth its in the title. Sound silly repeating yourself. No one else does that only you. Try it or watch your own videos then you will see how irritating it sounds. When you say in Blackpool, only in Blackpool, here in Blackpool, today in Blackpool. Crazy. And you can't compare Blackpool to Bournemouth. Just like you wouldn't compare Manchester yo Harrogate. I have to turn the sound off when you keep repeating yourself. So saying hit the like button isn't anything to do with how many different people you have joining on a live stream it you thinking if you say it enough people will comply they won't so just stop, just say it at the end. It's easy and you don't sound desperate or stupid. Take the feedback try it, listen to you viewers. Stop making excuses just cause you can't help yourself.. have the occasional comfortable silence but don't keep saying the same words. Rant over
