- In addition to being the hometown of the legendary Doc Watson, Boone North Carolina has been known to inspire many artists from country icons Eric Church and Luke Combs to the sell-out-arena band Rainbow Kitten Surprise.
The art, culture, and music of the Appalachias tends to trickle down the mountains and into the rest of the world where it continues to flourish. The Boonerang Music and Arts Festival is a homecoming for this music, art, and culture, where artists with connections to the mountain town come together and celebrate their roots! Hear from infamous blues musician Mac Arnold and his band Plate Full O' Blues, the poetic Shay Martin Lovette, and Patton Magee, the lead vocalist of The Nude Party as they reflect on their careers, journey's, and time spent in beautiful Boone North Carolina.
