Buy The Book | Tiny Bookshop (Cozy Narrative Bookshop Management - Demo)

- Tiny Bookshop is a completely wonderful game where we run a little mobile bookshop in a small town by the sea. We sell books, we buy books, we chat about books!
It seems that we're on a voyage of discovery. We don't find out exactly why but we've sold everything we own to purchase our bookshop-on-wheels and set up by the sea.
As we play we meet the characters of the local area. There's a former bookshop owner who is keen to help us out, the newspaper reporter who finds us quite interesting, the sailor who gives us a challenge, and more! We also get to move to different locations to sell our books, like the beach or in the town itself.
Each area attracts people who are interested in particular genres of books, for example travel, crime, drama and fantasy, so we have to make sure we have enough stock to sell. We can pick up more stock by buying books from the classified ads! Sometimes we have to offer recommendations to our customers about what book they should try.
Also, brilliantly, we get to decorate the bookshop. Not only do we get to choose the colours but we can also buy decoratives and place them in or around the bookshop! There are plants and signs and boxes and nautical themed things and much more!
Honestly I could have played this for hours. It's brilliant and we'll definitely be back for more!
NOTE: This is the demo version of the game.

I'm glad you're showcasing this, Penge. I love this little game. I played the demo and can't wait 'til it comes out.
As you might find out in the video (if you watch that far!) I was most disappointed that the demo ended! I wanted more! Mmmmoooorrreeee!!
Love these cute, cosy games 😊
@@TheGeekCupboard Yeah. I had the same reaction you did. "Come on. I don't want to stop now!" 😄
I am only half way through the video, and this game I hadn't heard of until your video has my *entire heart*~! I feel So happy watching you play! Keep on Keeping On, Penge, and Truly, thank you SO much for doing what you do! This is such a gorgeous little game, I can't wait to play the demo myself!
"This is lonely soldier.... location is.... BOOKSHOP."
Thank you for the look at this. My follow list is getting quite long.
I was going to call the video "Who will buy my books today?" after Manny's song but thought it would be too obscure!
I love Black Books, one of my very favourite sitcoms.
@@TheGeekCupboard I was worried you'd miss my reference and I'd have to gasp indignantly. :D
:o Tilde is hiding something, because her bookstore "Bokhandel & Antikvariat" means "bookstore and antiquarian" in Norwegian
This was simply wonderful! I'd love to see you come back to this one! What a beautiful original game!! ♥
Former bookseller here and I love this! And they reference real books!! Gaming and books!! I’m over the moon❤️❤️❤️❤️
I do enjoy a bookshop, there's a really nice one in the town where my in-laws live, it's great to just spend a while pottering about in there in the quiet.
I just tried the demo and already love it. Can't wait til the full version comes out. Very cute!
Definitely my favourite DEMO....going to play it now!
Obviously my playthrough will not be as fabulous as yours @Penge.....
When one of your patrons mentioned he liked Algernon Blackwood's style, it made me want to read The Wendigo again.
If Terry Pratchett is in the fantasy section, I'll buy the game.
That was a lovely, amazing game. Books, Plants, decorations ❤
...must be pretty bleak in Bookington, if they're all so keen on travel literature...
Cute!
I hope you pick this up when it’s fully released, seems very cozy 😊
omg i'm pretty sure you have a kindred spirit with these devs or the writers at least lol i cant wait to play this game!!
WOW, I've read lord of the rings first time at 11 years old, my mother told me it was a child's book. Didn't know it was considered a challenging book 😅
I'd say Lord of the Rings is quite challenging, in terms of it's use of language and sentence structures.
Is there actually any plant in the Geek Cupboard? 🤔
Watching this I suddenly got the urge to book a one week spot near the sea and read on the beach
Put on my wishlist, though I think I'll wait till there's more days of the game available
It's definitely one to come back to, the demo lured me in and now I want more!
Have tea and books, will travel.
