I feel like if I was playing this game as a child and I saw that title screen glitch like that I would have thought "oh no I broke the game! Close the game" I remember that happening to me in Virtual On on the Dreamcast I was fighting robots and then the game glitched or at least I guess it was supposed to be a glitch boss and I thought I broke it so I just closed the game console cuz it scared me as a kid
I would recommend ignoring those “join the legion” comments, they are probably bots or alternate accounts being led by someone who I am not aware about
