I think that Europe needs politicians who stand for an independent foreign policy, one that represents our interests. As it is we are sending many Ukrainians to their deaths in a senseless war, a war that could have been solved by the peace negiociations in Turkey soon after the start of the war. Negociations now.

Anyone who says anything else is simply lying.
On one side there is a country with the largest nuclear stockpile in the world (Russia) on the other side there is the only country which has used a nuclear weapon in a conflict. (USA)
America is the worst ally in the world.
    1) America didn't Let Brexit happen in Britain.
    2) America destroyed the Nord stream 2 pipeline in Germany.
    3) America sabotaged the Australia's Submarine deals with France.

There are way too many indications of that to not come to the conclusion that the aim for USA is to sever ties with Russia for Western Europe and cripple the economy to keep it dependent on USA. They have so far economically gained from this conflict in many ways. For instance, their aid to Ukraine is not given, it's on a lend-and-lease contract. Ukraine have to pay back and if they cannot resources will have to be handed over. BlackRock is already involved there and it's growing. Zelenskij has sold out as much as he and his government can, and more will come. This is all a scam.

If that treaty had been fulfilled, about 800000 or even a million people, both Ukranian and Russian, would not have died in vain.
As of today, the majority of the German people want cease fire and peace talks, and prefer negotiation and diplomatic settlement of that ugly conflict over continued and pointless fighting and dying, in a disgusting proxy war where only the Western military-industrial complex and their shareholders are the winners when this war is fought to the last Ukranian soldier.

This might be representative, would it not, of Germany's remnants of fracturisation between east & west Germany (despite reunification)? I had it explained to me a few years ago by an east German living in Hamburg, never the twain shall meet it seems in sociological terms & superiority complexes of west German's over those German's from the east, pervasive social norms there. If true, then you have eyes that face either to the east (Russia) or to the west (USA) & hereby lies Germany's dilemma (internal fracturisaton still exists). Your weak federal government does NOT represent the true State of Germany by those of us who respect your country. Do not become a vassel State.

German people seem to be awakening; a "business as usual" attitude seems not to be longer affordable. Germany's survival is at stake. And the people sense it. I regard the AfD as more of a state of mind than an ideology or political programme for the long run; more of a reaction to the policies of the federal government in recent years. And the BSW as a more coherent one for the long run. My personal view. And they don´t speak to each other; but pursue the same inmediate goal: saving Germany from a disaster. I find it dramatic and not a question of labels ("right" or left"). Thanks for today's programme.

The path to Peace is long but Never far as is War is never far but peace never impossible. It's been a long journey for many on the path to peace and sustaining it in some places even harder over generations. As said there though it is no longer just alarmist ringing a bell of warning to turn back and take a step back from the ledge resume a leveled head in these matters at hand before it escalates because of a over/under calculated step with tensions where they are already at. Peace is more then achievable it's in reach and all that walk this path should know it is worth it no matter how dark it may have become for some in those hours of darkness they always pushed through being the guiding light out of those grim times for many and should be thankful for those that have for generations and in the current days. Leaders must also be careful of their influences around them as well is probably the best way to put this as well you know what I mean by this. Time to return and where needed better the art of Diplomacy.

Won't happen. The political elite in Germany is deeply committed (complicit one could say) to the US Russia policy. It's disastrous for Germany and Europe but that's not something that historically has prevented elites from waging self destructive wars that mostly ruins or costs other peoples lives and prosperity. What's remarkable in Germany is that the most agressive, gung-ho politicians call themselves left. That's something we haven't seen since WW2 in Europe .

BTW the AI synthesised voice here was far better than is currently used in most videos on RUclips, especially with respect to intonation and timing. This reveals a much deeper understanding of what is being said than normal. I' m very disappointed with the new BSW party ( of which S.Dagdelem is a member) as it refuses to cooperate with the AFD ( allegedly " extremely rightwing" as we are incessantly told) on the Ucraine issue - .The Afd also demands a stop to arms deliveries and a start of peace negotiations, just like the BSW.
In spite of this, the BSW ( following the regional election results in Thuringia and Saxony)
now favours a coalition with the CDU which supports arms deliveries to Ucraine and does not show any signs of wanting a stop to arms deliveries and beginning peace negotiations.
Quite on the contrary. Frau Dagdelem ; a very intelligent woman, says all the right things as regards Ucraine. Sadly , her party, BSW, also maintains a firewall with the AFD.
