    I have this awning on my rig and I love it. I want the walls but they are pricey and lack any mosquito netting or windows. This is a tough sell on the old wallet. Thanks for the review.

      Im with ya. If they had windows n mesh i wud b keen as the fabric is better than darches.

      yea I can't seem to find any awnings that have mosquito netting as an accesory. Its quite surprising. Darche offers an annex with windows/netting wonder if there is a way to modify for your needs

      They’ve got walls with mosquito mesh doors/windows now

      What good is mesh if it’s open underneath. Bugs will just laugh at it as they fly under or around. Closed room is the only solution to bugs.

    Is there a height that the awning needs to be mounted at in order for the walls to set well with the ground?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  3 года назад +1

      Not specifically, Brain, the sides of the wall are about 225cm long and designed to slope out, this slope makes the height at which the awning is mounted somewhat flexible.
      Unless you are mounting it out of arms reach, then you shouldn't have nay problems.

    Can they be left attached and rolled up and packed with the awning or do you have to unzip the sides and pack separately ?

      You'll need to pack the sidewalls separately, they won't all fit in the cover. ~ Ben

    I’m glad there are no windows as it would only invite needless complication, cost, compromise integrity of structure. This is primarily a sun and rain shelter. You want sunlight? Put yer chair outside or near the open doorways. Problem solved.

    Is there a floor that goes with it? Or sold separately?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  4 года назад

      No floor specifically for this, Spencer, you'd have to use a few tarps instead. ~ Ben

    270°? 45+45=270?

      I'm not sure what you are referring to sorry, mavallarino. If you think of this as a (less than perfect) circle with the centre point being roughly the middle of the length of the setup awning, it would cover 270 degrees of the circle. ~ Ben

    Man those awnings look wierd as hell the 270 degree angles look on this awning is way to sharp looks wierd

      I'm not sure what angles you are referring to, Newport. The 270 degrees refers to how far around the vehicle the awning wraps rather than the angles on the walls or corners. It goes all the way down one side of the vehicle (180 degrees) then around the back (another 90 degrees) - 270 degrees in total.

    Needs windows...

    No floor, and it invites mosquitos and midgies. x-(

      Yeah, you'd have to work out another way to keep the bugs at bay, DOCWHOk9, these are designed primarily for shade and rain protection, but you could lay a few tarps down to cover the floor and hang a generic mozzie net in under the awning by attaching it to the spars.
      Thinking out loud here really, I'm sure there's a reasonable easy and affordable solution.
