I seen these guys at the Alrosa Villa 1988, and had no clue who they were but man they freaking rocked out. One of the best bands I seen at the Alrosa, very surprised.
13 year old me in 1985 living in Westland, going to "Rock of Ages" and Skateland and Westland Mall, Stevenson Jr. High....somehow this never made it to my ears though I was very aware of this band existing and the hype was out of control. Finally getting around to hearing this now and...well, I wouldn't have been quite ready for it. This is face-melting awesome thrash before I even knew what Thrash was. This is better than Maiden and "K'EA" era-Metallic or early Slayer. The production is fantastic for a local Michigan band., Need to find the rest of the album(s).
@@mikeygROCNY You didn't read: I said EARLY Slayer or Metallica when they sounded like crap (Kill 'em All/Show NO Mercy) the production on those albums sucked.
Rick Craig on guitar is just simply AWESOME! Long time fan. Wish Rick was with them still but they are still cool and play some killer Heavy Metal. If anyone cares Rick has his own band with George Neal called Ichabod Krane that kicks also. Thanks Brian Thomas and George Neal for all the years of killer music by Halloween.
+Brian Koncyk And Ichabod Krane has a new disc dropping October 1st this year. :) It's killer! I'm doing keys in that band!.And Halloween ain't done yet either!
Brian Koncyk 100% correct about Rick! I remember back in 89 or 90, my dad gave this album! Don’t Metal with Evil. Every song was killer! I remember spinning it, to hear the backwards message. Good memories. He got me into Seduce also. Took me awhile to find that one on CD.
Matt Wright Thank you! Yes he does. Listening to Tygers of Pan Tang, Salem’s Wych, Odin, Demon etc... all on vinyl, in the 80’s, great memories for me. Sorry for a long reply, but it’s hard to keep quiet, when people actually get it.
I remember seeing them back in the late 80's. Their club shows were better than those of larger bands playing larger venues. They must've plowed every cent they made back into their stage show. THAT is very metal!
We used to see these guys at the matinee for us kids n Detroit. That first album has always been a favorite. Rick Craig was a big influence on my playing from that album!
I knew Rick way back in the late 70sand early 80s thru my friend Eddie Dicicco who sang with him in Zacharriah. I played drums in a band called Briton. Rick was an excellent guitarist and I always thought he should have hit it big somewhere. I saw Halloween mostly at Blondies on 7 mile. Haven't seen him in more than 20 years. Hope he is doing well.
Seeing the band at Blondies on 7 Mile Rd was definitely a trip. Wall to wall people crammed into that small joint. Smoke filled the air and Ric Craig was just ripping on his Flying V.
Happy Halloween to an amazing Band!! Again My uncle Cecil said....who wants ti ring that doorbell! And we all raised are hand like little kids really wanting the candy... Well ba k in the day on this night... My uncle Cecil chose me. And rest his soul.... Ill never forget you. I love uncle rest so easy!!!💗💗💗

They are still playing shows together now and then. Just watched Brian in one of his tribute band gig's recently around Detroit. Cool. All those guys are/were exceptionally talented. And yes This band should had seen Much National if Not World Popularity.
FUCKING KILLER UPLOAD OF THIS CLASSIC HEAVY METAL BAND FROM DETROIT ✔ NEVER DID GET TO SEE THIS BAND LIVE BACK IN THE DAY ✔ THANKS again FOR SHARING THIS WITH US HERE ON RUclips ✔
Awesome to hear! Checked out your video of your Halloween rendition and sounds really cool! Sounds like you should add a nice touch and enhancement to the band. Looking forward to getting that when it comes out. Have a great day!
I remember seeing this video on TV. I think it was played locally if you lived in MI. Is anyone else wondering if all these people are now working stiffs and soccer moms? :)
If Helloween wasn't around at the same time I believe they would've been bigger. The similarity of the name caused confusion with some. I always liked these guys.
Kick Fuckin' Ass! I haven't seen this video since The Beat went off the air. Okay, this is going up on my MySpace page immediately. (if not sooner) Thanks Luggy Don Guerrier
I remember when bass player George Neal was 10 yrs old he told me that when I get older I'm going to be a rock star. Well my old friend you did it. I've known the whole family since I was 14. I'm now 63
I was talking to someone about puttin up OLD live footage from the 80's but if ya could put up some new stuff that would be cool too.Are you in Germany?Back in Detroit here.

Just seen them at Harpos Detroit October 21st for their 40th Anniversary
Lmfao
This is like a cross between the holiday Halloween, Mötley Crüe and Twisted Sister. WOW!!!! 🎃👻🎸🤘
I think I got to live till I'm a thousand years old just to catch up on all the 80s metal band I never heard of till now.
It be alright

They were good live! Saw them a couple of times at Harpos and I believe a Halloween benefit concert at the Capital Theater in Flint
@@Asterixdagaul Dude when were they at Harpos? This band kicks ass
@Andygogo - mid to late 80s was the last time that I saw them.
Seduce was another band worth seeing.
