Drake doesn’t steal anything. The man is bigger than any UK vibe. As big and respectable as he his, he firmly has the right to tread wherever he pleases.
Drake is that much of a musical magician, when ever you listen to any of his songs especially his freestyles and timestamp records his lyrics naturally register in your head after one listen, the second listen instantly has you singing along to it, this is how clear his delivery is for the various listeners and the melodic flow is just music to everyone's ears, only a few artists in the music industry have these type of unique powers, this is why he is the G.O.A.T IMO

Fearful drill will become to commercial after rappers like Drake be certifying the sound. This might dilute the raw flavour of what these uk artists are putting out right now. Just my opinion.
I hear that but if these artist really want to get out of their current situation. Drill being commercial will be good for them. I wanna personally give you a HUGE thank you. I'm from the US and got into Drill/Grime about 2 years ago because my best friend lives in Cornwall. 20 seconds into this track I was HEATED for all the UK artists that don't ever get the international credit they deserve (in my opinion). I felt Drake was just hopping on the Drill/Grime wave because it was finally getting somewhat noticed. Thanks for the information man!
I thought it was dope. I can appreciate an artist like Drake showing love to other genres to give them that exposure that they rightfully deserve. Unfortunately you can't please everyone. I truly believe he is genuine in what he is tryna do for those scenes and artists he puts on. Great reaction as always my G. Keep pushin, bless!
Drake left out any attempts at ad-libs. The ad-lib element is one of my favorite parts of UK Drill, it makes it more exciting and creative. Also gives the vocalists a chance to create some signature sounds and lines with ad-libs. This is why his track feels pretty empty and sleepy in my opinion. It's a good song but I suspect Drake either totally forgot about ad-libs or was too apprehensive to commit to any one ad-lib, as they tend to stick with you once the ad-lib gets popular. Happy New Year sir, I wish you the best of success and growth in 2020 and beyond!

Brother, big ups to your channel from the U.S. I liked this track by Drake. I interpreted it as him giving his own cool take on the drill sound. I don’t think ‘soft/smooth drill’ as a description herein would be derogatory. If anything, a description of “War” like that would be significant because I’ve never heard an interpretation of drill by a non-UK artist quite like Drake’s. So kudos to Drizzy’s Midas touch and ear for sound. I’ll be bumping this in the car for sure.
