For me i found the spells to not be useful so instead of shaman stone i ran steady body and quick slash and i used long nail instead of the 3 notch one
I actually DID do the flower surprisingly enough. I can’t remember what I’m missing at this point. I have had to beat the game 3x though on different profiles to make all the tutorials. I am furthest along in this save file but did other things on my second run 😅.
That is probably it. I’m going to have to backtrack through every spot to find the. Issuing mask. I may do a live stream finishing up 112% after I do p4
A few thoughts coming from a guy who's done all these on radiant except for zote and sly (which I've done on ascended). 1. You were way too aggressive, especially with hive knight and grimm. Anyone can keep hitting a boss till it dies, generally tutorial videos present strategies other than that. 2. You can deal massive damage to the collector with abyss shriek, especially with your charm set. 3. Not sure how this pantheon is about soul management. If you have trouble with that, just use charms that let you get more soul, none of these bosses are difficult to get soul from, you can just get it from them during the fight instead of storing it up before (you can dream nail uumuu for soul.). 4. Don't use descending dark on light bosses (such as hornet and sly), the knockback is unpredictable and can get you hit. 5. Zote really doesn't leave many openings for spells. I usually only use descending dark after he finishes running at me with the nail. Zote is a tough boss to avoid, so I'd save that soul for healing, which you can also do when he's spawning zotelings. 6. Spam abyss shriek at Galien. You don't need soul at the start of zote imo, you can get more than enough from hitting him. 7. You can always get 1-2 hits on sly between attacks that aren't nail arts. Also, when he jumps, stay as close to him as you can without getting hit, if he brings the nail over his head that's an opportunity for a hit. I wouldn't try to attack him during his cyclone slash, it's a bit risky. Also, you did sly's second phase HITLESS? That's where I keep dying while trying to beat him on radiant. I have no idea how you do that xd
I appreciate all the tip! I know that I’m not the best. I have not beaten most of the bosses on radiant. I just share the tips that worked for me. Your tips are better and at a higher level and I know they will help some people (myself included) for sure
While I am impressed with your skill, being aggressive is fine. Hive knight is pretty easy to burst down and still end with full health. Grimm, there is a heal right after.
PlayerN Yeah, when I first fought Grimm I thought he was soooo hard. Took me ages. And then Nightmare King Grimm took me multiple hours over multiple days. But…after that? I can do regular Grimm hitless now. It’s like a second Elder Hu - just time to get some heals in. It’s Grey Prince Zote and everything after that gives me issues. Sigh…I’ll get there…
@@RelyeaGaming The other thing to remember with God Tamer is.... doesnt matter if you kill the God Tamer herself or not... What matters is you kill the beast. The fight will not end until the beast is dead regardless if the God Tamer is herself or not. Personally i forget the God Tamer and concentrate only on the God Tamer's beast.
I won’t lie the difficulty spike between the Pantheon of the Artist and the Pantheon of the Sage is pretty freaking huge it wasn’t even Sly for me either surprisingly I beat Sly on my 2nd encounter with him in the Pantheon it was the Zote that made it so much harder for me thankfully we overcame him
Just wanted to point out that Galien's axe also targets your last known location, so a good strategy is consistently alternating between two points on the stage.
Grey Prince Zote especially when you battle him for the 8th, 9th and 10th time (which is also the last time you can fight him)..... he is no blumbering idiot he appears to be in the earlier ones. In fact he is darn annoying and difficult. but beatable.
Tip for the Grimm fight: when he puts out his arm to fire the three bats, you can pogo off his hand and land around 4-5 hits on him and not worry about taking damage
1. Zote does NOT deserve to be part of the pantheon, he's literally a fantasy (and he stole Bretta! >:[ ) 2. Is it pronounced Z-oh-te or Z-oh-tay? Because I've been saying "Zotay"
For the peeps having Zote problems: I recommend you do the Zote fights. Until at least Zote 6 where he does 4 masks of damage with each strike. If you're persistent, do them all. Trust me, it's not going to make you like him more but it's definitely going to make this battle against him feel like a complete joke.
For some reason I don't have to fight Grey Prince Zote but I can still do the pantheon. I haven't even rescued Zote from Deepnest. So don't rescue Zote if you're doing the pantheon I guess.
@Me mo yea if you don't get to at least phase 3 of Grey Prince Zote you don't have to fight him in the pantheon. I completely skipped that fight to make it easier for myself lol
Tip for the collector, it’s a glitch were if right at the beginning of the fight, right before he screams dash into him and take a hit, once you do that you can hit him multiple times while he’s screaming Edit: sorry for my bad grammar i wrote this at like 3:00 AM...
I finally did it! Im not the most paciente person so i tried really hard to beat every boss as fast as i can but then i realized that you need to wait a lot in this pantheon and strike in the opening especially sly. Thank you for the guide
SAME BRO ! i just go in and start hitting him like crazy I only dash when i have like 2 or 3 masks left So for now i can't get past ummu cuz i keep lossing to prince grey zote and i still have ti fight hornet !
A little late, but - the Hive Blood charm was key for me personally (beat Sage 2 days ago, after 1 year 5 months of trying - I leapt out of my seat and almost dropped my controller). If you’re like me, and tend to continuously occasionally make dumb mistakes while on the whole being on top of it and knowing the attack patterns, Hive Blood is for you! Best of luck with your pantheons everyone ❤️
Personally I use void heart (obviously), quick focus, quick slash, mark of pride, and nail master’s glory since I usually use my nail as my primary source of defense.
My tip to godtamer is just use sharp shadow to deal damage when it rolls and then get one hit in on it when it gets back to you and just stay away from them at all other times
Great video Relyea! I'm glad that you showed the charms cause I made these fights much harder than they needed to be my first time through them, cause of what I chose.
Tips that I found helpful in my practice: 3:14 I usually keep my distance from the collector. with soul catcher/eater you should have a vengeful spirit ready after beating the little minions. if you go to the other side of the room from where he starts jumping at you you should be able to heal 6:22 for Grimm I stay in the right corner of the room. Tips for all attacks (and my funny names for said attacks) Fire Bats~Dash through Grimm's first bat and double jump over the others Baseball Dive Slide~When he dives, just double jump over him, he'll just kick the wall and there's a free hit Reverse Thorns of Agony~heal during the spikes, or send a vengeful spirit Fire Uppercut~dash away when he dashes for you, and take a second to see where the flames are landing Spike Baloon~you can possibly heal once while Grimm is sending flames out, but just make sure where to look.
I always get very close to Collector. I found out he tend to jump over you most of the time, except when he's about to do an attack move. If that happens, just dash to any direction. If he is gone to the top, always watch for any dust appearing and spawn kill those dudes in jar

I beat Zote for the first time in this coliseum with two masks left. I looked at this video and thought, "Oh, he has two masks too! I wonder how he's going to handle Uumuu." ....starts the battle with full health....well, damn.

My build/strategy for this pantheon: Weaversong, Grubsong, Quick Focus, Fragile Heart, Fragile Strength. Weaversong + Grubsong will continuously do extra damage and regenerate soul, so you can pretty much heal whenever you take damage. Then just keep away from the bosses and sneak in hits when you can. Uumuu is a pain because the weavers will explode the Oomas and make you take unexpected damage, but it's still okay because Uumuu has very little health so you'll get through it. Hornet 2 is very easy with Quick Focus so you can get right back to full health before Sly.
@@honestwaylee8368 Nope! PV is a real pain with Weaversong because it wakes him from his stagger, and that's practically the only time you can heal. Also, when I was first learning PV I found it very hard to dodge him and to do damage, so I developed a strategy based on Sharp Shadow to do both at once. From memory, the build I beat p4 with was: Sharp Shadow, Quick Focus, Strength, Heart, Grubsong. (Or you could replace Heart + Grubsong with Quick Slash.)
Sly is a surprisingly fair fight. Hard, fast-paced, but beautiful and harmonic. To people struggling to defeat him, here are some advices: 1- Never Shadow Cloak through his attacks. His Nail is enormous and he's fast in combos. Always attack him after he's finished on what he's doing. 2- Jump over him when he starts the 3-hit combo, and Dash behind him as soon as the first is done, but only then. Proceed to place yourself where he'll fall after finishing the third, rising spinning attack, and hit him once. 3- Don't panic in the last stage. Just like in the video, all you got to do is either save soul for Desolate Dive / Vengeful Spirit and Dash way from his Nail when he spins in front of you before throwing a spell or approach again and poke him. You may need Longnail or Mark of Pride to reliably hit at this point if you don't have another means of dealing damage. 4- Don't get cornered in the last stage. Anywhere is good, but always make sure that you have space to Dash away from his spinning attack. 5- Learn how to pogo the Cyclone. Unlike Mato, Sly can only start the Cyclone in the air, giving you time to identify it. He's also slower and can be pushed away with attacks. However, its Cyclone lasts much longer and homes into you. 6- Don't be greedy. This is a sin Sly commits a lot, but he won't allow you to do the same. Each opening should allow for only one unpunished counter-attack, and nothing more. Don't cry when suddenly he slaps you for 2 Masks of damage.
I've been stuck on Sly's second phase for 2 weeks. I had a nail-focused build going on (mark of pride, quick slash, long nail, and unbreakable strength) and then I watched this and checked the description. Honestly, that build you have there, Relyea, got me to the end. Thanks.
Little tip for god tamer, if you have the soul, DDark is your best friend for this fight. And for Grimm, whenever he does the bats, the spacing is nearly perfect for Dash Slash, and it’ll boost your damage output considerably. Also works well on NKG. DreamNail Uumuu as much as you can to get soul for Hornet, and bomb the heck out of her with DDark. For Sly, i don’t have any tips. All I can say is: good luck casuals (including myself), you’re probably gonna need it.
I manage to breeze through the first bosses before having a quick rest and then continuing only for me choose my death bed between the next bosses after (Zote's a pain but i'm getting used to him, I still need practice for uumuu, hornet, and ESPECIALLY sly.) My usual charms for big fights are the unbreakable strength, quick slash, sharp shadow, long nail, and sprint master. Again, thank you for being the saviour everyone needs, Relyea!
relyea: be sure to use decending darkness to get invincibility frames me: remembering all the times I tried that an then taking body hits because I didn't move
I think it's really nice you don"t show a perfect attempt, it's a rather kind way to remind normal players that this is in fact difficult, and we don't suck that much, its just people on youtube that are very good ( and put way too much time into this !) Thanks a lot !
Gray prince zote is one of my least favourite bosses in all of hollow knight. There’s not really a pattern it’s more of just random attacks in a random order, complete chaos and I hate it.
i love that it wasnt the perfect no hit video and that other really good hollow knight players also struggle with certain bosses for some reason hahah. Really helped since now i know the order of the enemies and saw some strats from you thank you a lot
I finally beat Pantheon 3 today. It took a bit over 8 hours, including practice. I think I watched your video 3 or 4 times during the grind, it helped me a lot!! I had to practice Zote a lot, but I think in the end Uumuu is the one I struggled the most with. Thanks a lot for the help, super good video!! I'll start P4 grind tomorrow :)
I have just completed p3 so I wanted to share some tips : so the charm build i was using is unb strenght, quick slash, mop and stalwart shell. I cannot use spells they distrac me too much so no charms for them. So point of this build was to defeat hornet quickly just attack her until she dies and so i can defeat grey pince zote, he is the toughest boss is this pantheon for me. And the way i killed sly is that i learned the pattern, just one hit every time he finishes his attack combo and when he did the flyig thing i stood under him and attack as much as possible. And for the last faze i stood in the corner constantly attacking. To survive the last faze you need 4 masks, because when you stay in the corner and try to get as many hits as possible then after loosing three masks sly will surrender. (with the build i gave on the beggining?) But the most important thing is to train in hall of gods. That's all i hope it will help you 😊

for Grimm I just waste my soul on spells (usually shade shadow x2 on the spikes attack) since you get a rest after, also for grey prince Zote on the teleport slam attack just dash when you can already see Zote because he can't change his landing when already on screen, also I think the teleport slam checks what were you doing when the attack began (example: moving left before the teleport and GPZ will appear a bit to the left, if still when the teleport occurs GPZ will slam to that place) or at least that's what works for me
Thanks for another quick and insightful video. I finally beat the 3rd Pantheon 2 days ago!!! It took me about 13 minutes. It ould have been a lot faster if I didn't spend so much time nervously avoiding Hornet and Sly! Lol. Onto the 4th Pantheon and I'm honestly kinda terrified.... Haha
If you brought around quick slash I recommend just pogoing on the god tamer's pet and using descending dark whenever it rolls up into a ball. If you have unbreakable strength and pure nail, it goes down really quickly and you can often no-hit it with practice!
Relyea I think i know why I like your content. You're more relatable. Everyone else that does content makes it look super easy. You're like me scrapping by by the skin of your teeth
One thing I noticed when attempting this pantheon is with Zote when he spits out the bugs or summons the bombs if you have the charm quick focus, deep focus, and the one that makes you a slug you can really help yourself and get health back almost as quickly as you lose it.
Awesome video! I finally got through this hellish pantheon today thanks to your help here. Though I didn't use the exact charms you did it still helped me enough to get through. Half the time I couldn't even get to Sly, let alone beat him. Lol. I also subbed to you today, you have great content :)
I wanted to be prepared for this pantheon so I decided to see your vid, when I saw “nightmare king Grimm” on the listed enemies I almost had a heart attack
(Incoming accidental long comment) This pantheon took me several days to beat it, due to both Grey Prince Zote, Hornet, and Sly IT IS IMPERATIVE that you practice the bosses if anyone is and or was as stuck as I was, that was the only way I beat it. Plus, I figured out Sly's pattern after fighting him a lot in the Godhome: Sly is one relentless mofo, so what you want to do is wait for him to finish an attack, run in, and hit him ONCE, AND ONLY ONCE. Do not get greedy, that is extremely important, if you get greedy, you are going to get hit. Every now and again you can fire off a soul blast for some extra damage, but for the most part, just stick to hitting him once everytime he finishes an attack. As for his phase two, you must bait him out and go back in after he finishes his spinning attack once he zips towards you. That is all you need to know for Sly, sorry if its a lot of reading, that's just what I figured out after several days of practice and trying this pantheon over and over. Also, great tutorial Relyea, as always. While those charms you had worked, the charms I used where Unbreakable Strength, Quick Slash, Stalwart Shell, and Mark of Pride, which helps me rip through a lot of the early bosses, so if anyone else reading very long comment is wanting to use a different charm loadout, highly recommend using these charms Love ya Relyea, thanks for everything you do, and I'm sorry for making you read this looooong comment lol.

Nope, but I'm working on it. So far I'm already stuck on Lost Kin lol, but I'm currently trying to get some practice on him in the Godhome so I can take him down easy and get through the pantheon
I know it might be a little late giving tips, but some things I found that make grey prince zote a little easier are: pogo off him while he's running back and forth swinging his sword around, he's tracking the knight so he won't go very far so you don't need to follow him that much, but when he falls I think his hitbox becomes shorter, so just be wary of that. But, if you're not confident in pogoing, then you can wall cling until he finishes his running attack and descending dark on him if you have the soul. Sharp shadow is pretty helpful for extra distance if you're going to wall cling because he's faster than the knight so if you're in the middle of the arena, he'll catch up to you pretty easily.
oh my god you wont believe me, but after dying A LOT to God Tamer, Zote and Umuu, I somehow managed to beat Sly in my first try, omg i am shocked and im trembling dude. thx!!!
@@caminopreacher5958 There isn't, but I would recommend hitting him after he shoots the 3rd bat (1-2 hits), abyss shriek at the beginning of his floating(?) phase (he is an oval that fires waves of fireballs at you), hit him after the spikes disappear, and heal when he turns into a bat himself.
For Hive Knight, a cool glitch I discovered is that if you die a couple seconds before Godseeker changes the arena, you will actually be full health when fighting Elder Hu. A bonus to that is when you come out of the Pantheon, you will be invisible until you reload the game
The bat form is his downed form. You can only deal damage to the bat with red eyes. It is easiest to hit him with an abyss shriek (just because the large area). Honestly it’s probably best to heal
I learned this once. I just kinda hit him while he was turning into the bats, hit the red eyed bat, then realized how easy the fight was going to be once I knew this
Is there another more melee build suited to this boss rush as the other one helped me beat the 2nd pantheon on my first try but i beleive i need guidance for a change in charms
Here's a tip for each boss: Hive Knight: He doesn't have much HP, you can beat him very quickly by using charms like quick slash and unbreakable strength, you don't even have to worry about healing Elder Hu: His attacks are pretty easy to dodge, and he gives you quite a lot of healing time, also, shade cloak abuse The Collector: All he really does is jump a lot so don't be afraid to get up close and S M A C C him with your nail God tamer: Just worry about fighting the large monster boi, if you defeat it, the god tamer just gives up Grimm: Simple, just memorize the attack patterns Galien: move a lot Grey prince zote: Be patient, just tanking off damage won't always work Uumuu (I think thats how you spell it): Just heal a lot, idk Hornet: Memorize the attack patterns... AND DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO GET RID OF THOSE HECKIN SPIKEY BALLS OH MY GOD- Sly: Lol, idk, didn't get that far, you're on your own for this one :P
Sometimes, I just take the time to get into the the Eternal Ordeal (it’s super hard to get in the room for me) JUST to beat the heck out of little Zote for the fact that I don’t wanna beat Grey Prince Zote until I beat the third pantheon with all bindings

A great call. There are a lot of bosses that wreck you for pogoing like hornet or broken vessel so I forget a lot to do it

Yes. I thought it would have been the opposite the first time I fought the godtamer. Learned the hard way
The pogoing truck mainly works on the Hall of Gods, in the pantheon, the beast would most likely roll away.

For grimm you can heal once when he uses the spikes ive tried to heal twice but its really a 50/50 chance
Good tip. Most bosses it’s hard to heal more than once at any time
using quick focus makes it pretty easy to heal there
just use quick and deep focus, heals 2 masks at the normal focus rate
you can also heal when he does the upper cut with the flames if you got a little bit to the right of where he goes
If you did NKG you get so used to his moves that normal Grimm's spike attack feels like free time to heal
Just wanted to point out that Galien's axe also targets your last known location, so a good strategy is consistently alternating between two points on the stage.

For the peeps having Zote problems: I recommend you do the Zote fights. Until at least Zote 6 where he does 4 masks of damage with each strike. If you're persistent, do them all. Trust me, it's not going to make you like him more but it's definitely going to make this battle against him feel like a complete joke.

For some reason I don't have to fight Grey Prince Zote but I can still do the pantheon. I haven't even rescued Zote from Deepnest. So don't rescue Zote if you're doing the pantheon I guess.

After you save him from deep nest go to the coliseum and beat the easy trial

Tip for the collector, it’s a glitch were if right at the beginning of the fight, right before he screams dash into him and take a hit, once you do that you can hit him multiple times while he’s screaming

A little late, but - the Hive Blood charm was key for me personally (beat Sage 2 days ago, after 1 year 5 months of trying - I leapt out of my seat and almost dropped my controller). If you’re like me, and tend to continuously occasionally make dumb mistakes while on the whole being on top of it and knowing the attack patterns, Hive Blood is for you! My biggest problems with this pantheon are zote, godtamer and hornet and sometimes uumuu

Practice the hardest ones over and over in the hall of gods. You will get it
My tip to godtamer is just use sharp shadow to deal damage when it rolls and then get one hit in on it when it gets back to you and just stay away from them at all other times

The godtamer cant attack upwards. Just jump above him and keep hutting him and let the rebound keep you up. I do godtamer hitless using this.

Tips that I found helpful in my practice:
3:14 I usually keep my distance from the collector. with soul catcher/eater you should have a vengeful spirit ready after beating the little minions. if you go to the other side of the room from where he starts jumping at you you should be able to heal
6:22 for Grimm I stay in the right corner of the room.
Tips for all attacks (and my funny names for said attacks)
Fire Bats~Dash through Grimm's first bat and double jump over the others
Baseball Dive Slide~When he dives, just double jump over him, he'll just kick the wall and there's a free hit
Reverse Thorns of Agony~heal during the spikes, or send a vengeful spirit
Fire Uppercut~dash away when he dashes for you, and take a second to see where the flames are landing
Spike Baloon~you can possibly heal once while Grimm is sending flames out, but just make sure where to look.
I always get very close to Collector. I found out he tend to jump over you most of the time, except when he's about to do an attack move. If that happens, just dash to any direction. If he is gone to the top, always watch for any dust appearing and spawn kill those dudes in jar

I beat Zote for the first time in this coliseum with two masks left. I looked at this video and thought, "Oh, he has two masks too! I wonder how he's going to handle Uumuu." ....starts the battle with full health....well, damn.

My build/strategy for this pantheon: Weaversong, Grubsong, Quick Focus, Fragile Heart, Fragile Strength.
Weaversong + Grubsong will continuously do extra damage and regenerate soul, so you can pretty much heal whenever you take damage. Then just keep away from the bosses and sneak in hits when you can.
Uumuu is a pain because the weavers will explode the Oomas and make you take unexpected damage, but it's still okay because Uumuu has very little health so you'll get through it. Hornet 2 is very easy with Quick Focus so you can get right back to full health before Sly.

@@honestwaylee8368 Nope! PV is a real pain with Weaversong because it wakes him from his stagger, and that's practically the only time you can heal. Also, when I was first learning PV I found it very hard to dodge him and to do damage, so I developed a strategy based on Sharp Shadow to do both at once.
From memory, the build I beat p4 with was: Sharp Shadow, Quick Focus, Strength, Heart, Grubsong. (Or you could replace Heart + Grubsong with Quick Slash.)
Just beat this! Couldn't have done it without your breakdowns and hearing you say "Easy!" In my head 😅 thanks, if you even see this!
Sly is a surprisingly fair fight. Hard, fast-paced, but beautiful and harmonic. To people struggling to defeat him, here are some advices:
1- Never Shadow Cloak through his attacks. His Nail is enormous and he's fast in combos. Always attack him after he's finished on what he's doing.
2- Jump over him when he starts the 3-hit combo, and Dash behind him as soon as the first is done, but only then. Proceed to place yourself where he'll fall after finishing the third, rising spinning attack, and hit him once.
3- Don't panic in the last stage. Just like in the video, all you got to do is either save soul for Desolate Dive / Vengeful Spirit and Dash way from his Nail when he spins in front of you before throwing a spell or approach again and poke him. You may need Longnail or Mark of Pride to reliably hit at this point if you don't have another means of dealing damage.
4- Don't get cornered in the last stage. Anywhere is good, but always make sure that you have space to Dash away from his spinning attack.
5- Learn how to pogo the Cyclone. Unlike Mato, Sly can only start the Cyclone in the air, giving you time to identify it. He's also slower and can be pushed away with attacks. However, its Cyclone lasts much longer and homes into you.
6- Don't be greedy. This is a sin Sly commits a lot, but he won't allow you to do the same. Each opening should allow for only one unpunished counter-attack, and nothing more. Don't cry when suddenly he slaps you for 2 Masks of damage.

I've been stuck on Sly's second phase for 2 weeks. I had a nail-focused build going on (mark of pride, quick slash, long nail, and unbreakable strength) and then I watched this and checked the description. Honestly, that build you have there, Relyea, got me to the end. Thanks.
Little tip for god tamer, if you have the soul, DDark is your best friend for this fight. And for Grimm, whenever he does the bats, the spacing is nearly perfect for Dash Slash, and it’ll boost your damage output considerably. Also works well on NKG. DreamNail Uumuu as much as you can to get soul for Hornet, and bomb the heck out of her with DDark. For Sly, i don’t have any tips. All I can say is: good luck casuals (including myself), you’re probably gonna need it.
I manage to breeze through the first bosses before having a quick rest and then continuing only for me choose my death bed between the next bosses after (Zote's a pain but i'm getting used to him, I still need practice for uumuu, hornet, and ESPECIALLY sly.) My usual charms for big fights are the unbreakable strength, quick slash, sharp shadow, long nail, and sprint master. Again, thank you for being the saviour everyone needs, Relyea!
relyea: be sure to use decending darkness to get invincibility frames me: remembering all the times I tried that an then taking body hits because I didn't move

Gray prince zote is one of my least favourite bosses in all of hollow knight.
There’s not really a pattern it’s more of just random attacks in a random order, complete chaos and I hate it.

I finally beat Pantheon 3 today. It took a bit over 8 hours, including practice. I think I watched your video 3 or 4 times during the grind, it helped me a lot!! I had to practice Zote a lot, but I think in the end Uumuu is the one I struggled the most with. Thanks a lot for the help, super good video!! I'll start P4 grind tomorrow :)
I have just completed p3 so I wanted to share some tips : so the charm build i was using is unb strenght, quick slash, mop and stalwart shell. I cannot use spells they distrac me too much so no charms for them. So point of this build was to defeat hornet quickly just attack her until she dies and so i can defeat grey pince zote, he is the toughest boss is this pantheon for me. And the way i killed sly is that i learned the pattern, just one hit every time he finishes his attack combo and when he did the flyig thing i stood under him and attack as much as possible. And for the last faze i stood in the corner constantly attacking. To survive the last faze you need 4 masks, because when you stay in the corner and try to get as many hits as possible then after loosing three masks sly will surrender. (with the build i gave on the beggining?) But the most important thing is to train in hall of gods. That's all i hope it will help you 😊

for Grimm I just waste my soul on spells (usually shade shadow x2 on the spikes attack) since you get a rest after, also for grey prince Zote on the teleport slam attack just dash when you can already see Zote because he can't change his landing when already on screen, also I think the teleport slam checks what were you doing when the attack began (example: moving left before the teleport and GPZ will appear a bit to the left, if still when the teleport occurs GPZ will slam to that place) or at least that's what works for me

Thanks for another quick and insightful video. I finally beat the 3rd Pantheon 2 days ago!!! It took me about 13 minutes. It ould have been a lot faster if I didn't spend so much time nervously avoiding Hornet and Sly! Lol. Onto the 4th Pantheon and I'm honestly kinda terrified.... Haha
Man i just 1 shot every pantheon until the 4th by using unbreakable strength. I never had it and finally realized how good it was.
It just destroys everything. 50% increase in damage is huge
If you brought around quick slash I recommend just pogoing on the god tamer's pet and using descending dark whenever it rolls up into a ball. If you have unbreakable strength and pure nail, it goes down really quickly and you can often no-hit it with practice!

One thing I noticed when attempting this pantheon is with Zote when he spits out the bugs or summons the bombs if you have the charm quick focus, deep focus, and the one that makes you a slug you can really help yourself and get health back almost as quickly as you lose it.

My build for practically everything is Sharp shadows (just cause), dash master (which actually improves sharp shadows), quick focus, and hiveblood.
I like having the long nail or Mario of pride and unbreakable strength. Super helpful for nail arts

i beat 2 pantheons in a total of around 20, 25 minutes. and yet i cradle in fear knowing sly the fly is gonna murder me in cold blood.

This pantheon took me several days to beat it, due to both Grey Prince Zote, Hornet, and Sly
IT IS IMPERATIVE that you practice the bosses if anyone is and or was as stuck as I was, that was the only way I beat it.
Plus, I figured out Sly's pattern after fighting him a lot in the Godhome: Sly is one relentless mofo, so what you want to do is wait for him to finish an attack, run in, and hit him ONCE, AND ONLY ONCE. Do not get greedy, that is extremely important, if you get greedy, you are going to get hit. Every now and again you can fire off a soul blast for some extra damage, but for the most part, just stick to hitting him once everytime he finishes an attack.
As for his phase two, you must bait him out and go back in after he finishes his spinning attack once he zips towards you.
That is all you need to know for Sly, sorry if its a lot of reading, that's just what I figured out after several days of practice and trying this pantheon over and over.
Also, great tutorial Relyea, as always. While those charms you had worked, the charms I used where Unbreakable Strength, Quick Slash, Stalwart Shell, and Mark of Pride, which helps me rip through a lot of the early bosses, so if anyone else reading very long comment is wanting to use a different charm loadout, highly recommend using these charms

I know it might be a little late giving tips, but some things I found that make grey prince zote a little easier are: pogo off him while he's running back and forth swinging his sword around, he's tracking the knight so he won't go very far so you don't need to follow him that much, but when he falls I think his hitbox becomes shorter, so just be wary of that. But, if you're not confident in pogoing, then you can wall cling until he finishes his running attack and descending dark on him if you have the soul. Sharp shadow is pretty helpful for extra distance if you're going to wall cling because he's faster than the knight so if you're in the middle of the arena, he'll catch up to you pretty easily.

@@caminopreacher5958 There isn't, but I would recommend hitting him after he shoots the 3rd bat (1-2 hits), abyss shriek at the beginning of his floating(?) phase (he is an oval that fires waves of fireballs at you), hit him after the spikes disappear, and heal when he turns into a bat himself.
For Hive Knight, a cool glitch I discovered is that if you die a couple seconds before Godseeker changes the arena, you will actually be full health when fighting Elder Hu.
A bonus to that is when you come out of the Pantheon, you will be invisible until you reload the game

One question. When Grim is in the bat form, can you do damage, it is that to show that he is knocked down, like others?
I just realised how dumb that was, I'm guessing yes because he is down like the others.
The bat form is his downed form. You can only deal damage to the bat with red eyes. It is easiest to hit him with an abyss shriek (just because the large area). Honestly it’s probably best to heal

Hornet 1 is like the older brother whos been playing for 6 years and hornet 2 is his little brother spaming every button
Here's a tip for each boss:
Hive Knight: He doesn't have much HP, you can beat him very quickly by using charms like quick slash and unbreakable strength, you don't even have to worry about healing
Elder Hu: His attacks are pretty easy to dodge, and he gives you quite a lot of healing time, also, shade cloak abuse
The Collector: All he really does is jump a lot so don't be afraid to get up close and S M A C C him with your nail
God tamer: Just worry about fighting the large monster boi, if you defeat it, the god tamer just gives up
Grimm: Simple, just memorize the attack patterns
Galien: move a lot
Grey prince zote: Be patient, just tanking off damage won't always work
Uumuu (I think thats how you spell it): Just heal a lot, idk
Hornet: Memorize the attack patterns... AND DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO GET RID OF THOSE HECKIN SPIKEY BALLS OH MY GOD-
