      I think more he is just not willing to fold, so just wants to shove turn instead of having to make a river decision for a tiny bet. Still a pretty terrible play by Luda, since hes basically always getting called drawing extremely thin, and there are just so few bluffs in that spot.

    • @yfruitloops2352
      @yfruitloops2352 24 дня назад

      No that was 100% the best and right play by Luda. Reason being is linlin would have raised with KQ so the only other thing she could have is K8 and K8 is not the nuts, and K8 would not play it like that. So in theory luda basically has the nuts with Two pair on the board and how the hand has been played.

      @thisismyyoutubecommentacco6302 25 дней назад +3

      @@yanmingzhang420 I agree it's a standard fold for the action but given the players involved I think a call would have been just as reasonable. Also Mike's bigger issue was his check on the flop.
      Keep in mind Linglin is I think second to last to act, and could just be attempting to steal since she has 6 people checking in front of her. Given the fact that it's Luda raising he could just as likely be doing it because he thinks Linglin is trying to steal. Unless you believe Linglin is going to reopen the action calling Luda's raise with an open ended to the nuts against a maniac who will be happy to barrel into you if you spike your hand.
      Now if Mike had bet his straight draw, Linglin probably folds, assuming Luda still raises, now Mike can call the raise and close the action, which would be a superior situation compared to what he ends up in.
      GTO wise you're absolutely correct, just offering an exploitative perspective given the players involved.

    I don't know why Big John didn't call the 3K raise on the flop. Unless he knew Linglin was going to re-raise. I guess he might have known Linglin and Luda could get crazy. But then why is he in this game? Luda had an 8. So, there's only one way for Linglin to have 88 preflop. She would have raised pre-flop in that case. What hand could she have that's ahead of Luda that she wouldn't have raised pre-flop? I say NONE! That's why he did what he did. I suppose A8 is possible for a holding that beats Luda - 6 combinations.

    Honestly linglin keeps checking her cards. Everytime you look at them, you give him information. Memorize your cards, obviously if you check, you don’t have a set. Just for example

    I can smell Lingling's ego from over here in Europe, geez, take a chill pill. Great play leading out into 143 opponents with a bad gutshot.
