Pickup used to be a bit above the price of a regular car , but today most pickup are more expensive than a Mercedes , to all car makers make a cheap under $20,000 car or pickup for north america and forget about all the electronic toys like infotainment , give us the cars you sell in the third world at a cheap price and if I want to add any electronic toys I will have them added later if I have money to burn but stop pricing those cars out of the range of the average consumer.
This is genius, but it is NOT coming to the US. It doesn't meet US safety standards. It is for emerging markets. Reminds me of the old Mazda truck back in 1980s that sold $5995. "Only Mazda's got a truck for 59-95", was the jingle.
it's not a toyota champ/// it will be a car based on champ anb price start around 18.999 USD and engine options + sespention be upgrade to somesing like 15 inch whils
$10,000 without an automatic, no air conditioning, no power brakes, power steering, or power windows, they could probably do it. Then they'll list for $25,000.🙄
Will never come to the U.S. Toyota and the big 3 are not going to lose the product share in all the high price trucks. And let’s just fantasize that it will come to the US. It will be 25-35k with dealer markups.

I'd buy one
Thank god! finally a new truck with a manual transmission.
Chicken Tax will keep this out of the US ... if not completely, then by making it about twice the price.
By the time if it dose get here in the states, it will be $25,000 starting
$30k if it's not manufactured here
@@roughy762004 It can bu build in US
i don't think so it will come to USA, there is no multi cab ,i don't think this model meet the us standard, is it a gimmick
70s-2000s inexpensive small two cab pickups were everywhere. Higher margins ruined for all of us
Make it here, even Americans should be able to build this. Tariffs will double the price
Will still be $40,000 cheaper though.

We need to drop those standards. They where only put in by automaker lobbying as an excuse to eliminate small trucks.
I’d sell my motor cycle to by this new Toyota pickup, nah, I’ll keep my Yamaha Raider and buy this pickup👍
Will it also have an automatic transmission option too?
Less sales pitch, more review.
Is it more in the construction vehicle department such as tractors? A work horse. No comfort.
