I listen to these as I fight terminal illness as doctors have told me to just sit but I REFUSE to just sit and wait out my life. I’m fighting for a cause, I’ve started an NPO, I’m working my ass off and I don’t care if it takes years off my life I WILL leave this world a BETTER PLACE. I don’t care about riches or fame, give me a smile on the face of someone enduring immense sorrow, give me someone receiving the healthcare they’ve always needed, give me the touching moment someone decides to keep on fighting versus giving up. Keep the money, keep it all, my palace will be the community’s happiness. Until this world literally buries me, I WILL FIGHT.
Your refusal to simply sit and wait, despite your terminal illness, showcases an incredible spirit of resilience. It's amazing to see you channel your energy into making a positive difference through your non-profit organization. You got this!! 🔥
I'm an Infantry marine hoping to make it into recon. I hear Goggins and I run 4 miles at 2 am. I do 10 pushups when I get back to the door. I used to talk to myself and say I wanna be like him and I wanna be like these recon marines and that's my bar, that's my goal. But recently I started saying I wanna be better than that. I want to be better than Goggins. I want to beat his pull-up record and run 208 miles instead of 207. When I stopped Idolizing my heroes and started racing them I found myself getting outside when I'd rather play video games. See you at the top gents.
I’m ex military, and that’s the way to go. When I was in, I would see guys who got the perfect score (300) on the APFT. I said to myself, why not me, so I worked daily on all 3 disciplines and got me a 300 also.
I learned that anxiety, depression, etc is your mind trying to tell you something. I learned to really listen to my mind. And I learned what you put into yourself really matters, good or bad, so I put what I call ‘good input’ in myself daily. My daily running is a huge part of that, because no matter what, I always feel better afterwards!!
This is exactly what I needed to hear, the first 2 minutes describes me better than I can describe myself, I've been depressed and it's caused me to be lazy for far too long and it's time to take back control. I'm ready to get after it. Good luck everybody else who's hit the same point in their life I hope you achieve everything you're after and then some.
I'm still early in my journey to better myself... But I have to say this guy is a godsend, his message is bettering lives. Props to Goggins, dudes a warrior
No matter the obstacle you are facing, the anxiety you are going troough, the doubt and worries inside your mind you keep attacking life. You keep putting yourself in suffering and pain. That is what will make you great. Stay hard

"The truth is essential because it is the starting point for self-discovery. To truly find your true self, you must embrace discomfort and step out of your comfort zone. It is in those challenging moments that you grow, overcome obstacles, and ultimately find the light you seek."
I failed a big PT test miserably and decided to make the change. This guy, specifically this video, is something I listened to every single day. I can’t run 15 miles without stopping yet, but I passed that test after 3 months of training. Victorious just by going the distance. The brain is an incredible thing to control. Never take a day off.

Watching this motivational video was like a breath of fresh air for my spirit. I don't have the same level of challenges as others. I'm just a 29 year old with depression and really severe ADHD. Sometimes it's hard to stay motivated even when everything in my life is going well. HOWEVER, I don't let it get to me like I used to. It's not a crutch to stay sad and lazy anymore. It's fuel.
