- Whether you 🎶buy yourself flowers🎶 or get some from your Valentine, some of these hacks could help them last a little bit longer…and some can kindly be erased from our memories. Apparently, you can also try adding 1/4 teaspoon of bleach per 1 quart of water, but that sounds…suspicious. Can a florist please confirm? #hacks #flowers #lifestyle #FYI #shorts

Distilled water makes them last longer for some reason

@@volkova6209 it is odd because youd think the minerals dissolved in other sorts of water would be helpful but most of the time its just purified water with some sodium added. id be curious if real spring water, distilled, or purified would do the best

Did you know that by the time your cherished flowers make it to your florist's shop, they've already endured 7-9 days in transit? 🌺 These blooms, disconnected from their nurturing roots, struggle with a lack of oxygen, water, and nutrients-the very elements they depend on. But fear not! There are enlightening ways to extend their vitality and keep them fresh & vibrant for longer, but please DO NOT use Clorox for it is TOXIC 🌹 You can also Preserve flowers to last longer 🌸
Also changing plain water every 3-4 day makes them last even more.
The trick is to put a splash of Sprite in the water, not all Sprite. 😬
The aspirin failed because it was too much. We used to use a baby aspirin for a vase; I’d probably use 1/4 of a baby aspirin or less for a glass.
The water was misted on with hair spray. You can make the petals last longer by spritzing them a bit every day or so. I do this for vegetables too (but with water)
I used copper coins and my flowers are almost good as new for 6 days now. Never tried clorox, next time gonna try that.
Don't let ivy see this

Yall i just dip my stems in honey
I dipped my roses in gold, and they’ve been lasting for a few years now
KEEP THEM COOL IF YOU HAVE THE HEAT ON THEY WILL DIE FASTER
Why are you adding so much product to so little water?
