Be kind of funny if a business started taking pics of anyone that claimed they were related to the owner to post in the restaurant as the “family tree”!
That's soooooooo funny. The Karen learned who is true owner of the business, land, and private property! *NEVER* leave doors unlocked. Forget robbers, it's The Karens you gotta fear. As a kid, when I worked at The Shaq Of Radios, we kept the heavy accordion-gate mostway across the track after closing but when still tidying up, doing the books, etc., and the doors were *ALWAYS* kept locked regardless. You have no idea how many times I'd be chasing a broom around, then hear that B'harni-awful "screeeeeeech!!" as the gate was being pulled open, and then the "thunk-thunk-thunk" as some smoothbrain was repeatedly pushing on the deadbolted door trying to open it. Like, wtf does a huge f'n gate across the entry signal to most people? "Welcome! C'mon on in!" or something? "NO! CLOSED!" "But I just need one little thing!" "NO! *REALLY* CLOSED, *ESPECIALLY* IF IT'S ONE LITTLE THING!" Buy a f'n stereo from me that I can make a decent commission, and I'll think about it. A crappy AA battery? Rack off...
I worked at Kmart in highschool. Whenever I worked the opening shift, especially on Sundays, sooo many customers would freak out that I was "cutting the line" while heading into work. 🤦♀️ Many times, they'd try to follow me through the door. 🤦♀️🤦♀️ I was like, "Hey, notice the smock?". 🤣 A few times I had to say "If I don't go in there, you're not going to be able to checkout your purchases.". 🤣🤣🤣
Is The Inclusion Liaison one of those positive discrimination positions that don't require the person holding it to have any real skill, but still gets paid a decent salary for quota purposes?
I think this might be a translation thing since it is a story from Paris. In most of the States, we'd call a position like that "Admin" and for a special program like that there would be some ego-fluffing official title that only three people would use: the person who has it, their boss, and HR. It's the person who is doing the paperwork and overseeing the program, like a manager, but in education a lot of Admin do observations of classrooms to ensure everything is running smooth and get hands-on in a lot of ways with kids. As a student teacher or aid the admin got me set up with what the department prepared for me and made sure I wasn't lost or idle. Good admin makes a huge difference. I changed majors for financial reasons. As a student way back in the 90's I was hospitalized for an infection that got the Division of Youth and Family Services (dyfs) alerted. (I fell out of a tree and bruised my kidney as well as some more sensitive areas. Since these injuries could have been from something much worse than a tree they did their jobs properly.) While that was going on my parents weren't allowed to see me for a few days and a few of my elementary school admins came in to give me packets of school work and chat - asking me what happened and if I was OK, etc. I didn't understand why my parents couldn't visit at the time and nobody said anything to me that raised red flags - and apparently I didn't raise any flags either because my whole family came pouring into the hospital after a few days. For years I assumed they just had trouble getting a sitter for my baby sister. This continued for the whole month I was hospitalized even after my parents were cleared to see me. The assistant principal at the time came the most often. Haven't seen Mrs. Bader in a long while, though she'd be nearly 100 if she's still kicking. Hope she's well wherever she is, she was one of the best. I still have the troll doll she gave me the first time she came to visit.
Story 2 - I've seen several programs fold because programs don't protect employees at all. It's not just a danger to them, but to the kids too. One kid that was ~11, looked like an adult and was fairly functional, ran away (too few staff). Deciding to swing at a random group of teens after trying to grab their food...they wrecked this kid. He apparently had a history of it, no cameras so the teens weren't caught, but the kid was repeatedly warned that this behavior wasn't okay...some day someone would fight back.
Last story: I hope OP locked that door after Karen left. AND learned to keep the door locked when working late, unless not allowed to by law. OP didn't say what type of business it was, so I'm a little confused by there being a front desk. Receptionist maybe? But again, why would Karen need a pass and for what? Too many details left out.
@@bennylofgren3208 In some places in the US if anyone is working there has to be a way for people to exit without waiting for someone to unlock the door in case of fire or other emergency.
@@merlinathrawes746 I would assume that you can have a lock that only locks from the outside while still allowing the door to be opened from the inside?
Last: why give her OP's personal number? So she can harass him later? OP should have threatened to call 911 if Karen didn't get her butt out of the place within 5 seconds Nice women deserve every courtesy. A vast majority. But the few like Karen should be treated accordingly. OP KNEW she was upto no good when she pretended to ....
To go around some random place and claim to be the "sister of the owner" MUST BE grounds for disorderly conduct play ya cards right have the cops involved, get these dangerous people off the streets
That's twice in one day where the Titles actually match one of the stories... Are you feeling OK Redwheel? Did you slip and hit your head recently? 😄😁😆😅😂🤣
If everyone was related to the owner of every business/restaurant/hotel as they claim to be, then family trees wouldn't have any branches!

OP: Im the owner
Karen: No you're not....Im the owner's sister
Seriously how did she think that would work out.
For reason unknown, they always think its a magic bullet to get their way.
You should have called the police and asked for them to bring someone versed in mental health as there is a delusional person in your office

About your comment at the end of the first story RedWheel, I LOVED it! I would have done exactly that!🥂
My favorites are the "I'm the owner's friend/relative"

I would had quite this job if I had to deal with a kid like this

A "store" according to Karen, with a front desk and you need a pass?
Wait, why would there be a law against locking the front doors of an office (or store) when someone works late?

Thanks again Redwheel
OP waited the whole summer while the teenagers and the other kids were being abused on a daily basis before sending a complaint? Jeez.
