My favorite brushes from eco tools are actually eye brushes. They are all from the Daily defined eye set. Very good set for detail work. The small pencil brush works great at the lashlines, the flatter one is great to apply lid color, outer corner shading and blending color along the lashline, all the brushes in that set are great. The eyeshadow duo they sell is not as good.

The medium sized flat top with the blush pink handle is magical for cream bronzer! The other 2 in the set I didn’t care for either

I love EcoTools brushes too! The only fail, for me, is the round heads with blush handles set. We agree on that set too.

I use the wonder complexion for contour just like you said- once in a while though I actually do enjoy using it with thicker, creamier foundations! Ecotools is a great company!! Thanks for sharing 💞

Sarah I am new to Eco tool Brushes and your podcast today was amazing! I really love the comparison on the thin brushes for concealer/eye liner which you demonstrated comparing 2 from Eco tools and the one you use. I am a huge user of concealer and am looking for an eco friendly brush and would love to know the brand you state you use. Being the thinnest! I thought you were wonderful! Thank you.

I just bought the Wonder Color brush specifically for contour since it looks like a good contour brush and says it's good for contouring. I'm more of a beginner and rarely wear makeup, so makeup and brushes is like another language to me hahaha

Love the ecotool brushes. The new serie is beautiful. The ones with the silver ferrule are my favorite.

I actually have the 3 pink handles ( Ecotools) and I indeed agree the smallest size one doesn’t blend at all :/ the most out of them that I use all the time is the medium size one and never used the big size ever. However I am excited to try their brushes because compared to other failing cheap brushes that I’ve used before lol; hair everywhere and very fragile. The Ecotools brushes are soft yet durable. I’m just so glad to watch your video before attempting to buy others !^^

So funny. I can't stand the beauty blenders. Got 3 of them. Black green purple. They're so scratchy & not soft at all. I love the trio. I use the small for shadow, the medium for foundation, & the large for highlighter & blush.

Is the green sponge the same quality as the pink one? I own the green one. I have a dual sided eyeshadow brush set and I hate that you can’t store them upright with other brushes.

Thank you so much for creating this informative video!!! 🙏I need new brushes but don't want to break the bank. I-herb sells a large variety of Eco Tools and Real Techniques brushes (RT is one of my faves btw) and they're have an amazing sale on beauty tools and products right now! I'm going to purchase a bunch of brushes off I-Herb now based on your review. Thank you.👍

It’s so interesting to see other people’s uses and opinions of the same brushes! My most used ones are ones you have never used. Lol. The detail and airbrush from the concealer duo are my most used cause I am the exact opposite of you and always wear concealer and much less often wear foundation.
Also, have you tried the precision highlight for contour? It replaced the define brush for me in that regard.

Ps. There is a new set at Ulta called the Warm Ocean Breeze set I picked up recently. It’s marked down to $6.49 and has a lovely angled powder brush I have been using for bronzer.

The eye enhancing duo were the first eye brushes I got about ten years ago and I still have 3/4's of that set bc I cut off the angled brush part after it started shedding but the other brush in the set with the crease blending side and smudging side is still my favorite on the go eye brush. I also have the giant angled Kabuki with the all brown bristles but I have not used it yet bc it's in my backup stash of brushes. 😅

Great video. Any suggestions for a large (maybe the size of the powder brush or just a tad larger) but loosely packed (so very fluffy) brush? Something to help buff out some over blushing or bronzing. I have a Targer Up &Up brush that fits the bill perfectly but the ferrule is kinda janky and doesn't look like it'll last long.

Giannina Alarcon elf has a big powder brush in their beautifully precise line that I love and that sounds like it would fit the bill! Also the Real Techniques powder brush is great.

@@hannahfresia the RT powder brush is too dense but is the Elf one you mention have a clear almost crystal looking handle? Might have just felt that one this past week at Target and think it might fit the bill.

    • @hannahfresia
      @hannahfresia 5 лет назад +1

Giannina Alarcon yes it is the one with the clear looking handle. Its actually on clearance right now online, so they might be discontinuing it or are gonna stop selling it at Target soon FYI.

I’ve been sent quite a few brushes that I’ve tested & they didn’t make the rotation. The ones I’ve purchased were for a specific reason which is I use them all the time. Hopefully that makes sense.
