I love how the joke of the "SpongeBob episode" is not just based on putting music and sound effects in the segment as it is, and they are actually edited in jokes that require extra time or visual additions, such as the opening title card and credits, the "my leg!" little time added and cut of Skinner running to the restaurant, and the bubbles that cut from one scene to another.
It may not seem like much in writing, but actually seeing them shows how much effort was made to make the joke not only more fun, but also completely similar to a real episode of SpongeBob. This really shows that small details can make a big difference.

I was disappointed that Skinner/Chalmers didn't make squeaky/tentacle noises when they walked around
I do like you emulated classic Spongebob here. I noticed in newer seasons, there's always music playing and almost every action has a sound effect (that and all the characters shout their lines a lot), whereas the older seasons had quiet moments here and there and mainly used sound effects for comedic emphasis

Back whwn i was i small littel retated kid me my brothers and my dad would watch spongebob episodes on VHS and my dad would pass out and i was so stupid to realize it was over so i would just sit there and watch the credits.to this day i could put every note on a music sheet and it would be the same. I dont want to go in to detail but i am glad i survived that stage in my life and i think that help.
