Tomintoul to Blairgowrie... in a blink of a rapid eye... this is where you get your monies worth out of your tyres... superb... 👍
Ha Ha, loads of fun 👍🤣
@@teapotone 😊😅😮😢🎉😂❤😊😅😅😅😮😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Got all Simon's books...perfect planners, info and they fit great in my tank bag. Thanks again Simon. The latest books just great too.🏍️💨👍
What a view, around every corner.
Some wonderful countryside views in Scotland, but there is nothing wrong cruising in Kent either. Tiz normally warmer in Kent in summer. My wife Sam just loved a day cruising around Kent in the summer. But one day cruising around Scotland with my old mate John, Sam made me stop. She fell in love with a hillside covered in heather. She just stood there lost in here enjoyment. So I get what you say about Scotland, especially when it's warm and dry 👍😊. Great vid and some wonderful views to get lost in. Safe enjoyable riding and keep living the dream! Stey safe all 😊👌.
Just another incredible episode to a brilliant series Bruce 👏
Thanks very much Ollie, chuffed you’re still enjoying them bud 👍
I don't want this series to end, it just keeps getting better and better😁I love you Scotland😍Just brilliant Bruce, loved every second of that👌
Cheers Rab, thanks very much 👍
I'm with you on that. Ive been checking RUclips constantly for the next episode
i got a little twinge in the trousers watching that, i never tire of the roads and the views, roll on the 18th march when i'm next up there for 6 days
Great filming and edits .. plus you found some sun!!!! I was up Tomintoul and Braemar etc last year on way back from a week's tour..awesome roads and views. 🏍️💨👍
Great fun aren’t they 👏👍
great vids Bruce can't wait to get bikin back in Scotland...if you are ever in Northern Ireland I can show you the Glens of Antrim!....biker girl
That would be brilliant Helen, cheers! Not sure if I’ll manage over this year sadly, it’s going to be very busy with tours etc
Another brill vid Bruce. We did Glenshee it was so cold you could take your lid off! Fantastic road but the surface had a lot to be desired. Next time I'll go when It's warmer 😆 lol
Doesn't take a whole lot Bruce, blue skies, great road and a few mates and life is good. Add in coffee and cake and all is perfect. Enjoyed that.
Ha Ha sounds perfect Will, cheers 👍
Well done great series , and promoting some of the best motorcycling roads you'd find anywhere .
Outside of wales you meant, obviously! 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks bud👍
@@twowheelstouring482 If I ever leave Scotland 🏴 I'll need to have a look at your neck of the woods.
All my "quick blast" routes, great roads and video Bruce
That's it Bruce, you've convinced me. I'm coming to ride in Scotland ✌️🏍
Love how the Honda Crosstourer is leading the way, such a sweet handling bike 👍🏻
My Mrs just said what the f**k are you doing? That’s not skiing, that is some sort of weird shagging 🤣🤣
🤣👏👍
Wow what stunning scenery Bruce must get up there soon another great vid 👍
Thanks bud 👍
I am just adding to what everyone else is saying Bruce simply brilliant 👏👏
You did well with the weather this time. From what I remember it's never that cooperative. Picked up my new RS last week. What a game changer.
It's awesome to see roads i've ridden!
Want to ride back roads to Aviemore and this footage confirms that I will be doing this... :) Fantastic video as always and pleasure to watch! So much fun to be had.
Cheers Max 👍
Nairn for holidays on the Edinburgh Trades holiday when as wis a bairn. Always a drama wi ma Auld Fellys Wolseley 15\60, but the best of days when ye got there. Spotting Dolphins \ Porpoises fae the beach, Mini sub in the harbour, dodgems, Amusement Arcade and go-karts. Beautiful.
I lived in Caithness for 20 years and always looked forward the the road between Inverness and Wick, after the long haul up from the south of England, when returning to visit family. When they 'downgraded' the A9 from Latheron to Wick to become the A99, traffic going to Thurso bypassed Wick and the town became a back water - last time I was there it was looking very sad...
Glad to see you took the Struie Rd (at 5 mins) - another great road bypassed by the main A9 - bringing back memories of my runs north!
Portland Arms was always a good stop for meals - took my mum there a few times - she always made a beeline for the dessert trolley!!! 🍨🍰🥧🍮😆
🤣👍
Stunning scenery looks beautiful lovely blue skies what more can you ask for when out riding 😊
Epic ride Bruce, looks magic!! Nice song too - The Rivers Gonna Cry When Your Gone 😁
That’s the one, cheers 👍
It's been a really good series so far. Mint.
Cheers mate👍
Scotland is always amazing, and more so if it's dry 👍🤣🤣
That is such a nice country to ride motorcycles in.. And an excellent choice of bike to do it on..
You've shown the area off really well gentlemen. Lovely to see you all enjoy my backyard as much as I do.
Thanks to you Bruce for another brilliant series.
My pleasure bud 👍
Mike’s ski impression 🤣👏......Sometimes I forget just how lucky I am to stay up here and get to enjoy the company of others 👌.... Great video 😊🥃🏴
Ha Ha, aye thanks bud 👍
Stunning stuff Bruce, this is how it should be done. Cheers
Thanks John 👍
My god ...what a video...what views...lovely bikes...lovely roads...cheers 👏✌️ 🇮🇪
A great BLT at that cafe always stop there on a run out on the bikes better still only about 40 minutes away
This has been an absolute pleasure Bruce ..thank you 😅💯🍺 the commentary the music the filming its just the mutz nuts 🐕
Thanks very much Tony 👍
You don't realise the beauty take it for granted great vid 👍
That’s very true bud.
Thanks 👍
Just fantastic
Thanks very much 👍
Class tour Bruce and yet another great video. Mike Philipson skiing tec is questionable at best. Now you know giggles me and him have 😂😂😂
Thanks bud, ha ha aye Mike would make Eddie the Eagle look like Gold medal material eh! 🤣👍
Awesome roads and fantastic views. You've really been spoiled.
But Bruce, you should take the Tractor to the shop, your speedo went black so often on this video 😜, there must be something wrong with it 🤣🤣🤣. This is how I see that you had a fun day at the office 😁.
As always, thank you for taking us to this beautiful part of the World.
Ha Ha, my pleasure Thomas 👍
Another brilliant vid. Love the name of the cafe at Glenshee - Tea at the Shee 🙂
Amazing scenery.
Cheers Amanda 👍
Northern Scotland, mates, bikes.....life doesn't get much better....more please...
Amazing views totally breathtaking, so so lucky that way Bruce.
Cheers
Lovely road through Glenshee but closed today, I like to do the tour east to west missing out Wick and John O’Groats crossing the Black Isle..
And lots of memories again... Lecht Ski Centre, Gairnshield bridge, respect to the R18 driver for keeping up with your speed! Greetings from Michael from Germany!
Thanks Michael 👍
Your series are on another level, with great advice 👍
Thanks very much David 👍🙏
Loving this series Bruce
Cheers John 👍
Definitely a place to visit, cracking series...maybe join you one day
Cheers bud 👍
Loved it Bruce, and when you question your sanity living south of the border, I'm sure you appreciate it far more now than if you had never left. Thank you.
Aye that’s very true - nothing more patriotic than a Scotsman who no longer lives in Scotland 😉👍
Another brilliantly put together episode. Looks like your group got on really well. Fabulous scenery and one of the greats at planning routes leading. Great work 👍
Thanks a lot Richard, aye the group dynamic was great eh, I’m usually very lucky with that 🤞🙏😉
Hey Bruce, I booked my trip yesterday for 5 days in Scotland in May,
Riding up from southern Ireland
And getting the ferry from Belfast, can't wait.
Finally caught up and what a video, fantastic views! Not seen that route down before. Will check that out. 👍
Cracking series. Gorgeous views. Smiles for miles🔝🎥🎬
Brilliant Excellent video for Riding in Scotland 🏴 ❤
Thanks bud 👍
Absolutely superb set of vids of your Scottish adventure. That’s what biking is all about. Just brill.
Well done mate, looked like a good trip, easy riding
Cheers Si, aye was great fun, I keep telling you lads we should do a tour up in God’s country! You’d love it 👍
Brilliant, another great tour video 👏🏻👏🏻
The title of this vid should of been….why do I live in England? Another cracking vid Bruce…nice one brother
Ha Ha - that’s a MUCH better title! 🤦♂️👏👍🤣
Was up Tomintoul,Breamar and Glenshee last May.Utterly stunning fantastic roads and scenery. Shout out to MCi Tours and FEC.😉
Nice to see a 790 Duke among the GS crew!😄👍
My 890DukeR was amazingly capable on a tour 😎🙂
Hopefully get on one of your Chickenstrips Tours one day soon Bruce. 😀
Ace vid as usual TP1 👍
i can say i’m lucky enough to have this as my quick blast after my tea roads😂. Had many squeaky bum times on the lecht road. Awesome 👍
Just phenomenal, fabulous series young Bruce 👍
Thanks John, great to hear you’re enjoying it 👍
Love spending Saturday mornings riding along with y’all! Great touring footage. Be safe.
Really enjoyed this series so far Bruce. Cannot wait for my trip to Scotland this May 👏🏻👏🏻
Cheers Chris 👍
The vistas are just stunning !
What a fantastic video. I'd love to get my old Firestorm up there but I'd be worrying about fuel availability. 100 miles and I need to fill up, 115 and I'm pushing!
There is a wee ginger man that you can call 24/7 and he'll come and replenish your tanks for some tumshies, assorted beads and baubles... and you're Golden...✌️
You’d be fine, plenty of garages a lot of them self service and run by the community. If you’re nervous take a emergency supply strapped on the back.
@@IanTed nice to know, thanks for the reply
@Banditmanuk has done plenty of touring in Scotland (and Europe) on his MT-10 with the same tank range. 👍
Aye as folk have already, you’d be fine Phil 👍
Qué bello paisaje.
Un saludo desde Cantabria.
España...
Loved this and the whole trip, your camera, music and commentary is tv worth 💯 % , I actually look forward to a new one coming out each week. Keep up the great work Bruce and everyone involved in the making of this . Matt . 🤘👍
Thanks very much Matt, glad you’re enjoying them and I appreciate the comments about the production - very kind 👍
I have smiled the whole trip thank you to you and all the lads what a superb advert for Scotland and some of the finest roads to be found. :-)
Just fantastic.
16:10: 'Why do I live in England?'. Two days without rain will always get the Jocks excited!
Brilliant wee series, can't wait to do the trip for myself. Great song choice from Basixx as well 😁
The road through the cairngorms is the road I missed out on last year due to being soaking wet and cold, in June , this year I will be doing it first on route to Dunnet Head via Dingwall then on to Ardnamurchan Point on my Rebel 1100 so should be fun, June again but two weeks earlier so hopefully no Dutch campers taking up all the passing points on the NC500 route. Watch the card fuel stations some warn they are linked to the ANPR system so will not dispense fuel if you are out of tax MOT or insurance and the camera has to have full view of your Number Plate so any tiny hidden plates will mean no fuel.
Never heard that 👍
I know those roads as used to go for a blat out while stationed on the Moray coast. The Bonar bridge/Contullich road is epic as is the 'Old military road' through Glen Shee (on a good day).....
Awesome 👌
I love these vlogs! I've always dreamt of motorcycling across the UK like this man. Someday hopefully!!
Canna beat a blast roon the Grampians 😉😊
You need to getyersel back to the Mother Land Bruce 🏴
Aberdeenshire is a good base. 😉
Video was awesome bud!! 👌🏻
Love seeing our wee bit o the world in all it's splendor 🏆🍻
Cheers Derek,
Aye it was grand to be back 👍
oh man, that is my kind of road at 4min in, super tight twisties, 15mph on the corners. I could totally do that all day.
such a well shot an edited video, i stumbled across you by accident an really glad i did, live the dream lads !!
👍
Cheers Stefan,
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Great series, really enjoying it.
Thanks very much
Living in N'Land I have The Borders as my back yard, but I manage at least 2 trips up North every year to rekindle the love with the Lecht and Braemar areas. Its got me going again later this year .... great stuff - thoroughly enjoyable viewing
Beautiful roads to play on and another cracking vid showcasing them Bruce. You said at the start of the vlog The Portland Arms was on the list to use again and i agree as i had a cracking meal and a pint or 4 there on my last visit to John O Groats. For anyone watching and planning on following the routes Bruce is taking and planning on a solo or travelling in a group of 2 or 3 if the hotel is too busy there is an excellent B and B called Acarsaid about 2-3 minutes walk along the main road towards Wick on the right. Bike friendly with a double garage to store you bikes in overnight and ideal for a nights kip before or after the John O Groats photocall 😉
Nice one, cheers for that Rob 👍
Have a look at the route from Lairg to Kinlochbervie....its a stunner.
I love love love those roads, it’s making me want to get out on my bike right now.
If you like your whisky try stopping at the Richmond Arms in Tomintoul cracking fire in the bar as well
Excellent video Bruce!👍
Cheers Graham, glad you enjoyed it bud 👍
Loving this trip 👌
I was hoping/looking for the abandoned tanks?
If anyone knows where/what im on about.
Safe travels to you all 👍
So gutted I missed you guys.
I like those roads look fun to ride on
Class 👍👍👍
I need you to do this tour in the summer holidays this year 🙏
Loving the series. But did you have to tell everyone about Scotland? Trying to keep it all for myself. Spent the whole of this episode slo-moing the bikes coming the other way incase it was me!! This is my stomping ground you see and listening to you guys wax lyrical helps me see it a fresh and not take it for granted that every time I go out for a run on my bike these are the roads I ride.😊
👍
What roads 🤓,hope to get there this year 😎🏍💨💨💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦great road trip Bruce 🍻
Cheers John 👍
Hello Bruce, sorry not been commenting on your videos in the last few months, just given the thumbs up to the videos.i have watched and enjoyed them all, keep up the good work
Cheers Simon, much appreciated bud, glad you’re still enjoying them 👍
Loving the series. Top stuff! Is there a detailed map of the route you took available anywhere?
Is it hard to get the lads moving in the mornings; the group trips I’ve taken it’s like herding cats?
Ha Ha, depends on the group to be honest bud - sometimes yes, other time no… but I’m terrible in the mornings, I don’t start coming alive until about 11!! 🤣🤦♂️👍
Brilliant video mate ❤
Brilliant skiing 😂
@@neilevans3084 my Mrs watched it and simply said ‘what the f**k are you doing’… 🤣🤣
@@mikephilipson4001 lol. She must be proud mate 😂
Great series of videos hoping to do it in April have been trying to follow ur roads on maps but obviously missed some anychance u can post the route you done
You can buy it off of Simon Weir’s website simonweir.co.uk 👍
Whisky!?! Did anyone say whisky? Runs around in a frenzy with a Glencairn glass in hand - just in case...
Anithir belter chiel. Great tae see the hame patch agin. Keep em cumin min.
Cheers min 👍
Another stonking ride.
Thanks Mike 👍
For anyone who thinks you need a touring bike or a bike of sorts to do scotland then think again. You could do these routes on any bike and still 100% have the time of your life.
Just pack a bag, check your oil and tyre pressures and just go. You wont regret it
GS w@nkers, that's a term I've not heard in a while Bruce but think I will probably end up as 1 in the future! 🤣👍
Great to see you on Exeter Riders livestream aswell mate, although seemed really short, after I'd watched you with RV on yours the same day! 😉❤️👍
Cheers John 👍
Makes me jealous. Used to live in Aberdeenshire so this was my backyard. Now stuck in Greater Manchester, I want to go home. I think where you took the group photo in Glenshee was the “Devil’s Elbow” a notorious section of road that was re aligned years ago.
Cheers Alan, sounds about right that.
Aye I know what you’re saying about being homesick, me too bud
Nice to hear from you Bruce, love your vids. Although I’ve still got a bike I do nearly all my motorcycling vicariously through RUclips these days. There are some nice roads round here but the volume of traffic is frustrating.
Nice
