Modern beatboxing is doing some absolute crazy multi-layer sounds, and it's amazing. Old school beatboxing put so much focus on authentic sound reproduction, I wish some of that made its way back.
The most legendary beatbox video for me was Rahzel - if your mother only knew. I believe beatboxing wouldn't be how it is without that video going viral before viral was even a word on the internet.
Scratch was one of my first influences back in 2004, i talked with him through MySpace in 2005 and he was so humble, that was back when he dropped "The embodiment of instrumentation"
Rahzel is 100% the beatbox goat. I remember going and buying his "Make the Music" album my freshmen year of high-school. That shit was mindblowing at the time...
“Only if your motherrr knewww knewww, she woulda kicked youuu out her home home home” Rahzel introduced me to beatboxing and absolutely remains the GOAT.
You should hear Rahzel bs Rob Swift live... Rob Swift does a turntablist routine and Rahzel reinterpretes it. Amazing to the hard-core... Also listen to Greg Nice on T La Rocks first lp !!!
Who was the guy that sang "if ur mother only knew" whilst doing the beat and bass at the same time? That was the first time I'd ever heard that done so well. Does anyone know who I mean coz it's driving me nuts!
Vor 20 Jahren in der Schule war "If your mother only knew" DEEER scheiss... alle drauf abgegangen, und einer konnte es ganz gut nachmachen...er war der King :D
Memories of being on the school bus, probably around 10, cd player with my ripped/burnt cds lostening to this and is all trying elements and if your mother only knew

Ich mache nun seit 24 Jahren beatbox und bin einer dieser oldschoolbeatboxer 😂

@@beatboxersalamii1423 the second one ofc....just logic.
"Now it's time for the beat, and the chorus, at. the. same. time." Legend.
"If your girl only knew"
"Oh yea, well, I can beatbox behind my back!" 😂 That was amazing.
He's pretending to be a scratch dj so it's actually more clever than you think. ❤
Editor. Give us a funny comp of his moans lmao
🤨
???
Those scratches 😮
Reminds me of Michael Leslie Winslow who's why i originally fell in love with beatboxing 🤯 So good, old school sound for sure..
He's the best at sound effects point blank
The most legendary beatbox video for me was Rahzel - if your mother only knew.
I believe beatboxing wouldn't be how it is without that video going viral before viral was even a word on the internet.
With that piece you mentioned, he had his entry in my life. That was the first time I heard of Rahzel. Quite some time ago..

No
If you were born in the 90 ‘s you will know this legend and the tune with the vocals of
“If ya muma only knew “
I was born in '82. Dude is definitely a legend, probably one of my all time favorites.✌️
It's not the same guy, the guy in the video is scratch from roots
if you muma only knew, she'd prolly throw, you out her home, you'd probably live on a park bench all alone
Totally awesome lv it bring it back
Scratch was one of my first influences back in 2004, i talked with him through MySpace in 2005 and he was so humble, that was back when he dropped "The embodiment of instrumentation"

Pure class. Genius at Work.
He's incredibly talented. Love it
The first beatbox star on youtube, I remeber discovering him on here at the same time he was being discovered like more than 15 yearrs ago
This is how I remember beatbox. He brings me back to the Old School smooth.
Chezame, es ist einfach nur schön, dir zuzusehen, wie du die Leute und die Kunst feierst. 😊

I think this is still my favorite era of beatboxers. Don't get me wrong, what the they do these days is absolutely amazingly insane. ✌️

So smooth. 😮
The first time I heard beat boxing was 2002/2003 at a high school talent show. Loved it and love to see how it has evolved with each artist
Scratching is underrated.
I know nothing about beatboxing but I love your reactions
“Only if your motherrr knewww knewww, she woulda kicked youuu out her home home home” Rahzel introduced me to beatboxing and absolutely remains the GOAT.
Rachel is the master listening since 01
The beginning sounded like Going back to cali
This absolutely reminds me of that youtuber who does the same beatbox style at metro stations. With his amazing SpongeBob voice impressions
This is what we call Old School beatboxing. Less sound effects with a Doper beat
I've watched this whole video before Fire 🔥 all the way he is amazing
Lol the style brings me back to the days 😁
Yeah real OG beatbox ! fuck the ludacris ways of beatbox!
Nice video mention @Chezame love you

Nobody talks about the old school beatbox anymore. Let's take it back to Fat Boys and school yard competitions
This is this dude granddad. Why do I feel like this isn’t old school? I must be old😮
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
No one beatboxes like this because no one listens to Rappers Delight.
Downloading his set on limewire in the 2000s and listening to it on repeat was a vibe 😅

He ist the Great, but Michael Winslow is the Greatest.

Ok, yes I’m an old lady, but I love watching this kids face when he likes what the artist is doing! I’m shameless ❤😂

Without tech/repeaters is always best..
Memories of being on the school bus, probably around 10, cd player with my ripped/burnt cds lostening to this and is all trying elements and if your mother only knew
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dope but would've sounded better looping.. Always use every means available to your advantage
Have you ever seen Gabriel "fluffy" Iglesias? He can do some cool sounds to
That face😂
Yes. Very cool. Moor. Kasey Leigh Kelley 😊
