There is nothing to worry.. my wife was alone in Qatar at the time of our third baby. She was discharged after 24 hrs. She had to take the baby to the Embassy after 48 hrs as we needed the passport for the baby urgently.. she travelled to Kerala with baby along within 8 days after getting the residence permit..
