The main reason i love Deckerstar is because they're trying so hard. Even when the world is against them, they're not giving up. That's why I keep shipping them. Luci is not my type and I think Chloe is somewhat lacking in character but I can see them trying, growing, learning from each other and their character flaws makes me relate to them even more.
When Chloe jumped on Lucifer to protect him, after they both survived, she wanted to kiss him. Lauren played it perfectly because you could see in Chloe's eyes, she excepted Lucifer for who he is in that moment.
