When she goes up top the first time, the music drops then she hits the chorus and it becomes magical. The hair on my arms stands up every single time even after watching this 100 times or more it still happens. Its hard to describe it but i love it.
I have found her Instagram account and she’s adorable. Looks so much younger than in stage. She takes her time to react to any comments you send her. She’s like family
@@craigcampos Nothing major it seems: Sydnie spoke only of more time needed to prepare, in her instag. post, when confirming the delay for the tour after receiving queries by fans whose bookings were being changed: she spoke also of her own, huge, personal disappointment at the postponement worked out with her team. She added a post of her doing a little dance and a twirl, to lift our spirits after her sad news. We'll have her tour at the right time.
Great reaction. I am glad you were able to react to each of her songs. With her humility, personality and amazing talents, I am thinking we will see more of her in the future.
I’ve watched all the talent shows from their inception, the got talent shows from around the world, the voice, American idol, X factor. Over particularly like listening to the judges comments filling each audition. I’ve never witnessed Simon seem to be at a loss of words which, he definitely was following over the rainbow. He stumbled, mumbled, didn’t finish thoughts and copied Brunos remark to finish his critique. When a performance can cause that kind of reaction from Simon, who’s usually unflappable, that in itself describes the impact Sydnie’s voice had on not only him but anytime watching. I’ve heard and read negative comments towards her however, I also believe those making those comments are doing so because, they could only dream of having that tie of impact on people. She has the ability like Celine, to leave so many with a memory that last a lifetime and when her albums come out and tours mount, people will use those songs in memorable events of their lives like weddings etc.
Hi you two just want to say been watching you guys for awhile now great channel I loved that you did all three of these performances and loved your reactions keep an ear out for Sydnie I hear she will be touring in the states next year she has covered pretty much every big song since BGT and has recorded a couple of her own as they say "ONE TO WATCH" and yes keep smiling always...
Yes, she presented this song perfectly and it was a career defining moment: your points were also spot on. It was taken from Loren Allred's rendition of the Hawaiian version of the song. Sydnie's nationwide tour has had to be moved to next spring due to preparations taking longer than hoped for: the first album is due in a month from now, while her first single now has also a music video.
What a coincidence! Halfway through this performance, I was thinking, "She sounds exactly like Loren Allred. That's the way Loren would sing this song." Sydnie still doesn't realize how good she really is.
@@theloneranger8725Yes, Sydnie is starting to believe more in herself now, as her posts on her instag. are showing. Growing up in Odawa, that small town on the Ontario Québec border, it's so nice to hear your Kanukistani accents! It reminds me of home 😉 I now live in the wilds of West Québec.
Such a great personality and an incredible singer, have listened to her over and over including lots of reactions. Obviously I think yours are the best. 😎 Another singer I love is Alice Fredenham singing Funny Valentine on BGT . Thanks again for your reactions.
@@davidmcbride-w1n absolutely agree with you in Alice. Alice was fantastic. I would encourage anyone to watch that version of " My Funny Valentine". Alice went all in on that song.
For context, the original version of this song was recorded in 1939. Belting like is done in this version, would have been considered screaming. It just wasn’t a thing. This brought a whole new element to the song
Of all the three performances that Sydnie did, in my opinion the first one was the standout one as she was raw and had no idea of what to expect and her humility was clearly on show, sufficient to move the judges in the manner that she did, including getting the golden buzzer from Amanda. The second one, although musically was excellent, appeared to be forced and she did not seem at all comfortable, so on balance, I have to put this in 3rd place. The final song she had come more back to her natural self and the musical performance was also excellent and worthy of her taking the main prize. Sydnie is somebody worth following in the future as I'm certain we have not seen the last or best of her yet. One other female singer worth looking into is Tori Holub, who has the same smooth and silky voice that bought Karen Carpenter to fame, and in conjunction with James Wilkas, it is very hard to differentiate between them singing the same songs.
I enjoyed your reactions. She reminds me of Jennifer Hudson in her vocal abilities and her sweet personality. It looks like Sydney is finally on her way…
I know she is recording an album and is scheduling a tour in England! She absolutely wows me every time I listen to her!! A request from no is to react too Chris Stapleton live on Jimmy Kimmel singing "It Takes A Woman"
Gotta check out the version by Israel Kamakawiwoʻole (kah-mah-kah-wee-woe-o-o-lay) also known as 'IZ'. But you HAVE to do the "Over The Rainbow/What a Wonderful World" version. It is so beautiful. Just an ukulele and a lovely voice.
Looking at the judges reactions, if Sydnie did not win, I think they would of had a mental breakdown. Talk about tension and anxiety. Never saw Simon so happy.
Nice reaction again to Sydnie. It’s amazing how some commenters don’t understand the need to show some flair when singing bland songs in a competition. Loren Allred (the original singer of Never Enough) put together that version on AGT Fantasy League earlier this year. And Loren and Sydnie have a special relationship as Loren is Sydnie’s idol. They actually met in London last month. Here’s the link to Loren’s version: ruclips.net/video/2G7AOscKjE0/видео.html
I cannot stop listening to all of her songs every one of them are a new masterpiece. Until now only Michael Bublé can rearrange sound and song to make it better than the original, which is always very hard to do.
Three of the most boring and over performed songs out there and she not only killed tham, but made them fascinating and emotional. I'm so glad my favorite Canadian reactors decided to feature her.
YES, she IS being requested to replace Taylor in the States, also in the comments on her presentation in June of "Tomorrow" at the West End Live event; she was the final act of the last video of that Sunday, at this link: ruclips.net/video/PGIUtPm-VqQ/видео.htmlsi=DyYAsShL-k8JJBpM The other artists of these tuned are fans of hers now: Loren Allred calling this song "our" song on Sydnie's facebook posting of this video. When Angelina Jordan, a sensational talent, was on AGT she didn't make the top 5 of that special Champions Show! A dance crew from India won that show!
This was the least favorite performance of her three BGT appearances. While her emotion and power were still there, for the first time I felt like there was a note or two that weren't pitch perfect. Maybe she was having a problem hearing herself, so it might not be her fault. I love Sydnie and I'm looking forward to listening to her in the future.
