I've always wanted to do songs from series, because these meant so much to me growing up.
This episode in particular was one of my absolute favorites, how can't you not love Spot!
I also found out, later in life obv, that this episode was written by Peter S. Beagle, who also wrote The Last Unicorn, one of my absolute favorite books - how amazing is that!
Being able to record this song with a stunning new arrangement made by friend Jérôme was an absolute dream come true!
I so hope you guys like it and that it'll bring you every bit of joy that brought me recording it!

I LOVED "Spot." I was always disappointed they didn't include him in an actual movie of "The Little Mermaid." It would have been incredible for him to go in proper adventures with Ariel. I remember I used to get "The Little Mermaid" magazine as a kid, and it would have comic book stories featuring Spot, which were my favourite stories. This song is amazing, and you've done an incredible job covering it. It brought back memories I had long forgotten!
Awww thank you so much Gary! ❤️ It sure brought beautiful memories to me too while I was recording it. I actually loved the show and the comics more than the feature when I was little, so being able to cover these songs is sure very special to me.
@@princepeterwolf I didn't get to see the show that often, unfortunately. I mostly had to rely on VHS episodes borrowed from the video rental store. But I always got the comics. How are things with you?

This was just so adorable. I couldn't hold my tears back from the very beginning. Although I didn't know the song, it was so lovely. The way you sang it was so pure and beautiful just like your acting between the verses. I love your voice so much please never stop singing

I remember that episode! I always wondered if Spot ever missed Ariel after she turned human and if he ever saw her again. Do you think you will do a cover of The Edge Of The Edge Of The Sea? The song from the episode when Ariel tried to befriend Stormy the wild sea horse.
I love spot too!! ❤️ I'd love to, I have yet to wait for Jerome to confirm me if he will create the backing track for it, but that's def the one I wanted to do next!
