This is the first time I've been so strongly pulled towards a Cleo, I've got to get her. I'm normally a Drac and Frankie person but it's nice to get some variety.
This line is sooo much better than the first wave Here are my rankings 1- Cleo (I am OBSESSED with that heart jar she comes with) 2- Frankie (this may be a hot take but I hate the shade of pink that they used on them.) I'd love Lagoona without yellow hair. If they gave her white hair like Frankie, with pastel blue and pink (and lavender??? 🤔) streaks, but would that infringe on Abbey's signature colors.

Maybe I’m just biased but I can’t help but say Clawdeen is my favorite 😭 Her outfit isn’t my favorite out of the 5 but she’s still my fav. My ranking would be: 1. Clawdeen 2. Cleo 3. Frankie 4. Draculaura 5. Lagoona I love them all though and maybe my opinion will change when I get them all. I only have Draculaura so far.
1 - Cleo, 2 - Drac, 3 - Lagoona, 4 - Frankie, 5 - Clawdeen but they all wildly knocked out of the park compared to wave 1. My only exception is original core Frankie who I think is just perfectly executed, no notes. All 10 together I'd put the 1st Frankie as #3
On like a personal level I think Clawdeen is actually my fav. She isn't the best doll and she is questionable but I love the glamrock 80s movie vibe. The capris make sense. Since it is ripped at the end I think it is a reference to the movie teen wolf. Where he outgrew his pants etc. I know I am reaching. Overall Draculara and Cleo are technically better. But I gravitate towards clawdeen because you rarely see that aesthetic and the gold looks amazing. The only bad thing is the boots but I usually change my dolls shoes anyway. I love Clawdeen. I know this is a crazy out there thing to want. But I think they should do Clawdeen dressed over the top to hell for a doll via hair band. It would be so funny and continue to go in the direction of her being inspired by movies
Here's my ranking i fear its controversial 1- Cleo. One of the best dolls of g3 so far period shes so gorg. also the jump in beauty from original core to core refresh is crazy 2- Draculaura. Shes sooo fun. Love the hat and the top and the makeup is saurrr good 3- Frankie. Franklin my beloved. I don't like the blue on the shorts i wish it was black (and a half skirt) but otherwise im obsessed 4- Clawdeen. Kinda yawn i fear. I'm just like. neutral on her ig 5- Lagoona. I'm gonna guess that everyone's list is gonna be vastly different lol. Here's my ranking. 5. Frankie⚡- I'm ngl I'm kinda disappointed by them. Not thr biggest fan of grunge honestly. It's not a bad look I'll say but as a definitive look, I prefer core Day's Out Frankie. Accessories are cute but hair is ehh especially the pink bang it's way too prominent to me, the bangs you gave to your Frankie would've saved them for me. 4. Clawdeen🐺- While there's a lot to improve for Clawdeen, I certainly enjoy her a lot more than Frankie imo. I love that jacket honestly(reminds me of Clawd's so I gave him pink fur sleeves for his varsity jacket so that they could somewhat match lol) and the glasses look amazing finally! But the pants kill the look honestly. And the teal is so out of place especially in the boots. And she should've come with more curlier hair. Mattel seriously needs give Clawdeen more hair types honestly. 3. Lagoona 🐟- She really could've been 1 but she needed her core doll hair color. She looks way too empty from the upper half of her body. But those pants and shoes are sooo good!!! She looks loke she's taking a stroll in the beach and I love it sm but the upper half tho!!! She's got the better hairstyle imo those buns are amazing and her backpack is amazing (minus thr goofy ahh lookin face lol) 2. Draculaura 🦇- Oh ik Angel is coming after my head lol. But she's really good. That face screening is amazing, the lip color is so divine! Her makeup is darker which I love. Her outfit is such a glow-up from her core and that hat is soo cute!! Those black sleeves and leggings are amazing. And yes to pigtails plsssss! G3 dolls with hairstyles look amazing. She's definitely my definitive look for Draculaura and I can't wait to mix and match with my other Draculauras. 1. Cleo 𓂀- I'm sorry but she eats!!!! Not just every other g3 cleo ever, but everyone else in the Refresh line!!!! Devoured!!!! She's literally an infinitely better version of Core Cleo it's honestly embarrassing...The hairstyle, the makeup, the clothes, the accessories, the SHOES!!!!!! It's all on POINT!!!! I literally cannot find any legitimate complains! She's just perfect as is!!! This my definitive Cleo absolutely the best of the Refresh line for me no questions asked😭💅✨!!!!! Overall, thee refresh line certainly are mostly better than the core line but there's definitely some things they can improve. But damn when they their high points (Cleo basically lol), those are some of the best high points for MH G3😍💕!!! Sorry, I see the vision but I just do not think it was executed well. Her hair color is weird: they should've used her core yellow with the slight charteuse tint, and I think it should've had more colored streaks, and they should've used the pinker magenta and the bluer teal. Her lips should've had a peach tint to harmonize with the rest of her colors, her necklace should've been a creamy gold instead of bright orange (although even then I'd still swap it out for her wave 1 puca-shell necklace and use it on another doll), and her pants... I love the silhouette and stuff and the tassles but that pattern on the long part is just so ugly... I love mistyxxart's redesign of it, but really just changing the big pattern with anything else would've worked. The little fishnet part does NOT make it better.

as a they them myself, girlies is okay as long as its either collective or like affectionate. And getting Frankie's pronouns wrong is okay, as long as its not malicious, and the mistake is acknowledged with a simple sorry and a correction.
I do have all the ones i could get. I dont like the clothes on Clawdeen or frankie, The jacket and the pants on them are just too busy wish Frankie had solid black pants or bottom, the green with the pink just doesnt work for me . I got the new Monster fest Frankie and another amped up frankie to use their clothes. I so love their face on monsterfest .
Clawdeen is the worst for sure but still better than her original on hair alone. I've sort of grown attached to mine, though, but i gave her micro braids, which somehow makes he look less like she's 12 in those overalls. My number ones are tied between Cleo and Frankie.
My Walmart went from carrying just 4 monster High dolls for the last year to carrying 15 plus on May 1st. I was shocked when I saw the expanded section. Then I went back a few days later and most of the stock was gone. Like G3 is doing so well and I love it.

why is Lagoona so glossy, did they paint her with something or it's just the plastic finish? Also, just watching by them all together in video, my list would be: 1. Draculaura 2. Clawdeen 3. *Frankie 4. *Cleo 5. *Lagoona *note that I don't own any of these yet, so my opinion can drastically change once I take a doll out of its box.
5 - Frankie. The hairline/bangs/pink just aren't working for me, and I want to love their outfit but the fit/fabric just seems off. 4 - Clawdeen. Agree that she's way better than her core doll, but the rest are too pretty. Victim of an amazing lineup. 3 - Draculaura. Don't get me wrong, this is my favorite Drac doll. But there are SO many Dracs to pair her against so she's #3. 2 - Lagoona. Oh my god she's SO cute. The bubbly hair/jellyfish bag combo? Those perfect pants? And I love her crop top. 1 - Cleo!!! I think I prefered the hair colours on her inital core? Again shes not bad the others are just waay better. 3. Draculaura She ate she literally ATE. Is 100% my fave and looks the most amazing out of all the G3 and is currently the only one I own (cuz the others aren't out here yet) 2. Cleo. This was a hard choice between her and Frankie. Her inital core looked good BUT THIS?! Nah. I''m not a big Cleo fan but holy shit I adore this Doll I can't wait to get her!! 1. Frankie. This is the best they've looked in G3. I loved their look in G1 but again, Frankie was never one of my favourites but this look across the gens is actually killer!!
Monster High is currently my favorite doll line. I was completely in love with Shadow High but RH is doing slime and massive face glitter so I can't. Plus, they're monsters! I haven't seen Cleo in person so I can't appropriately rank them yet but ya clawdeen is 4. I love Laguna but right now Drac and Frankie are my number 2 and 1. I think Cleo may win top spot when I get her though.

My Walmart went from carrying just 4 monster High dolls for the last year to carrying 15 plus on May 1st. I was shocked when I saw the expanded section. Then I went back a few days later and most of the stock was gone. Like G3 is doing so well and I love it.
Fr my local Walmart got monster high dolls when the first skulltimate secrets released then disappeared like a month later and just came back last week and i finally got my hands on Venus

As to Clawdeen, another thought is that she is improving as more dolls come out, and I do like later versions of her G3 self.

5 - Frankie. The hairline/bangs/pink just aren't working for me, and I want to love their outfit but the fit/fabric just seems off.
4 - Clawdeen. Agree that she's way better than her core doll, but the rest are too pretty. Victim of an amazing lineup.
3 - Draculaura. Don't get me wrong, this is my favorite Drac doll. But there are SO many Dracs to pair her against so she's #3.
2 - Lagoona. Oh my god she's SO cute. The bubbly hair/jellyfish bag combo? Those perfect pants? And I love her crop top.
1 - Cleo!!! Oh my god. The bangs. The snake leg wrap. Her absolutely perfect makeup. The entire outfit is insanely fashionable, I love that they kept it to blues/golds/blacks. I'm dying to see her in stores near me.
My Order:
5. Clawdeen ( trousers just aren't it colour wise. Her dolls are getting so much better tho it's just the outfit tbh
4. Lagoona. Again looks fantastic. I think I prefered the hair colours on her inital core? Again shes not bad the others are just waay better.
3. Draculaura She ate she literally ATE. Is 100% my fave and looks the most amazing out of all the G3 and is currently the only one I own (cuz the others aren't out here yet)
2. Cleo. This was a hard choice between her and Frankie. Her inital core looked good BUT THIS?! Nah. I''m not a big Cleo fan but holy shit I adore this Doll I can't wait to get her!!
1. Frankie. This is the best they've looked in G3. I loved their look in G1 but again, Frankie was never one of my favourites but this look across the gens is actually killer!!
Monster High is currently my favorite doll line. I was completely in love with Shadow High but RH is doing slime and massive face glitter so I can't. Plus, they're monsters! I haven't seen Cleo in person so I can't appropriately rank them yet but ya clawdeen is 4. I love Laguna but right now Drac and Frankie are my number 2 and 1. I think Cleo may win top spot when I get her though.
