The only time you'll use FoL is for pre-hotting a tank that specifically has Sacred Shield, or spot healing where no additional AOE healing is needed and the target is ALSO no longer taking pressure. Another scenario where you'd use FoL is Anub p3. Overall FoL is a pretty niche spell now compared to what it was back in TBC, but it can still be somewhat useful from time to time. You have to be fast and have good add-ons (I recommend Grid2 and clique), though, otherwise Holy Light spam is just a much safer option.

Well thats you main healing spell, you almost never will you flash light on last patch end game, unless you are on the move or want to proc hot.

Well that's paladin tho overhealing is in he's nature especially with nyr so you can spread that shields.
