Gacharic Spin plays many styles of music "MindSet" MV is jazzy/funky and " I Wish I " MV is more heavy metal ! You should check these songs out for sure ! Mindset first =) and "Tamashi" with toy instruments is too funny =)
Welcome to Gacharic Spin! This was a really cool place to start but you really need to check out Mindset and I Wish I, their two big releases from last year. Just amazing. Not a lot of bands ten years into their career show this kind of massive growth. Angie, the pink haired singer, new to the group, truly shines in both those tracks.
“Mindset” and “I wish I” are two amazing songs/MVs from their latest album. Another favorite is “Juicy Beats” (you have to watch the original MV, with an earlier lead singer, before watching the concert video).
"a lot of energy" is basically Gacharic Spin sumerised.
G'day Jules, Gacha have ALWAYS brought the energy (13 years!) - this is their best lineup, but you might need to get to their more recent releases to see the extent of their creativity, and the multi-role talents of members. As you saw they all do vocals, and they can extend into different ranges. Hana - left side drummer here - also does guitar, Aerophone, and clean and growl vocals during concerts. Bassist F Chopper Koga is one of the best.

I think I agree with the lineup, although I do still miss their choreo girls, that was fun as well. But yeah, Gachapin can do pretty much anything, they are thir own genre.

My favourite band! So much talent, creativity, passion, and fun! This isn't their normal set-up really, the drummer in the black top (Hana) here was the drummer from 2009-2019 (and co-lead vocalist from 2012-present). In 2019 the drummer in the white top (Yuri) joined so Hana could go out front and focus on being more of a front-woman, they occasionally do this double drum set-up for a few songs at larger shows however. Mostly nowadays Hana is out front singing/playing guitar/playing aerophone/playing whatever is needed (she's an exceptionally talented multi-instrumentalist).
If you want to try more from them their MV's from last year for "MindSet" and "I Wish I" are amazing (Hana recorded drums for both as new drummer Yuri was off on maternity leave). There's also loads of amazing live footage that's well worth checking out!

You go in choose your poison put your money in and crank the handle,
And down falls your prize.
The cranking of the handle is the
Gacha sound. Not surprisingly these stores are called gacha stores.
We would say gotcha. Same sound.
The machines are called gachapon. But knowing how the Japanese tend to shorten a lot of their words, I wouldn't be surprised if they would shorten it to Gacha.

They are not really gumball machines, but similar to that in that you put in a coin and you get something out of it.
That can go from little toys to actualy food in some cases from what I have seen online. Those things are all over the place if you look up people walking through Tokyo.
I think their name comes from the act of spinning the handle of the gachapon machine, but it's very close to what you said.
