Wait, this isn't actually 4K, is it?
- You're right. It is upscaled from 1080p. The reason for this is that RUclips allows for better bitrates at 4K compared to 1080p and therefore compresses videos less. This results in better quality which is very noticeable during dark scenes.
Why don't you upload in actual 21:9?
- That's another problem with RUclips. Currently, the platform doesn't allow to add endcards on videos with that format. Only in 16:9 it is possible to use those. That is why I have to fake it with the black bars. So if you're using a 21:9 screen, I sincerely apologize.
Why did you voice multiple characters?
- I really was looking for other voice actors on Casting Call Club, but the auditions there didn't work out for what I was looking for. So I did the voices myself. I hope that I can find suitable people like Zumie Fiasco for future projects.

Whanowa. Bravo, I seriously enjoyed it man. I was glued to it all the way through. Very good pacing. I'm stoked I was able to be a part of it. Gotta say I do feel bad for Aron, poor guy was just trying to help out lol. The guards had it coming though.
I really appreciate all the little details you put into it with color grading/correction, vfx, sfx, props, and animations. Good lip syncing as well I know that can be difficult. Overall great job and I can't wait to see more man.

Thanks to whatever57010 after he tweeted this out some time ago, I watched this machinima and it was an instant sub sorta thing. Good visuals with a solid story, overall just great quality. He dubbed this the best machinima he'd ever seen and you linked RisingJake's Hotline machinima, saying that his machinima was the best, and from there I started watching him too. And from RJ, I've watched some Duggy, and then found Mum Zauz who's incredibly underrated, so on and so on. I've really taken interest in the machinima community, so much so that I'm even attempting my own short film. It was a little while after that we were both featured in whatever's shoutout which was interesting, I was shocked to recognised like that by someone as respected as whatever57010 and then to also see your name too, like "oh I watch that guy" haha.
Anyways, I decided to come back and rewatch this, mainly because I wanted to also see the BTS and unused clips too, I thought I should refresh my mind first. Let me tell you, it's still awesome. I can't breakdown specifically why it's good, but I think you know HOW it works, you've written a good, somewhat simple story and you've put a lot of time into the visuals and audio design, it comes together. You might find this odd but there's just one scene that I love more than anything else, it's like the most natural, human thing I may have ever seen in a machinima and it's our dude simply lying down listening to music at 3:57. It's hard to achieve that feeling I think, it must be difficult with machinimas because our in-game characters are far from human so to see this scene which is so authentic, it makes it stand out in the best way. 15:42 is nice as well, I like how we're accepting the grim reality that evil has so clearly won in this story and then the camera turns to show the entire city - which I interpret as our antagonist's freedom and bad intentions, a city is at his disposal, his playground. One thing I would have found super impressive is if you made the glass of water at 6:21 fall over spilling the water, whether on screen or just auditorily. He pulled it right into the metal bars so it would make sense and it also would have demonstrated how he was angry and careless. Although this story doesn't need a sequel, I don't think anyone would complain if it had one, and I'd love to see this prick face justice. AND learn about his backstory too, maybe there are more layers to this guy than it seems.

It is an open ending of sorts, another message I wanted to convey with this is not only that the city is in danger now but that they will have a hard time finding him in there, especially since he can now trick anyone to change bodies. By the next time they would search he wouldn't look like this anymore - which would make it harder to create a sequel anyways. Plus, I kinda wanted a short movie where the "evil" guy loses. We don't really know he's the bad guy, sure, he killed guards and tricked an innocent person who will die in that cell most likely...but what made him like this? That would be a backstory worth explaining - a prequel would make more sense for the viewers.
@@whanowa Hey I did reply to this, I don't know if YT removed it or something but it's not showing up for me. Either way, I would love to see a prequel too. I'm not sure if you've ever gone as far as to do multiple parts in a story but this would be a good one for something like that I believe.

Du hast mich schon mit dem Einstieg extrem beeindruckt. total sec. Nur der Name des Films, Sound und SFX und das Gewitter. Dennoch ist es alles so perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt dass man das Wummern der Musik im Gewitter wiederzufinden glaubt. Extrem gelungen ist natürlich die Fahrt durch den unterirdischen Tunnel mit dem Flug durch die Landschaft bis zu seinem Haus und der drop mit dem Schliessen der Tür....perfekt. Überhaupt ist der Gegensatz der düsteren Stimmung der Gefängnissituation zum Alltag des Junges genial gut. Mein Favorit ist aber das Bild der düsteren Landschaft mit der roten Hütte....überhaupt die Art mit der du die Farbe rot, die Helligkeit und Dunkelheit benutzt um die Geschichte zu erzählen nimmt einen emotional in den Bann. Ich hoffe sehr wir bekommen noch sehr viele Machinima von dir zu sehen. Obwohl ich eine extrem ungeduldige Person bin warte ich gerne auf Arbeit die von so hoher Qualität ist wie deine. Grandios mein Freund.
Holy ****. Not only have you demonstrated advanced camera editing skills, but your the scripting, the scene set-ups, sound-mixing and color-grading are also excellent. Overall, it is a video full of effort and passion. More people need to know this. It’s another brilliant yet little-known machinima.

More than a month of intense work. I'd say ~100-120 hours.
I totally believe it. I think I spent about 2 weeks making my first one that was 5 minutes long. Started a new one about a week ago with help from your awesome tutorials here for the Menyoo and Scene Director mods. I expect at least a month of work. Now delayed since Spider-Man came out :D

I really enjoyed the color grading in this one, how you combined warm and cold colors in the same shots. Like the Red cabin cold tonalities around before the protagonist (Well, second protagonist) enter for rescue the other one. As Duggy said bellow the SFX and voices are really in point. 👌
The plot-twist when they exchange bodies deserves an Oscar by is own.

how you exporting videos from rockstar editor , because when i tried it gives me error , it says it violates terms and con. etc , i use many mods and with out that its useless for me to export , can u help me exporting ?
You need to have an active internet connection to export.
