Just ordered a frsky tandem x20s been flying Spektrum for the last 10 years or so. I'm sure the initial setup will be kind of a pain. (I have to do 5 heli's 😂) but the possibilities seem endless!
thx u for the video. Regarding the Gyro, dont you have to create a new gyro mix to allow for the gains and then link it to the rudder? In your video, we dont use the gyro submenu at all. in most other brands of radios, we implement the gains in the gyro channel (typically channel 5 even though this is fully customizable with ethos)
great video. thanks for sharing. I'm trying to get my old trex 450 With flybar and tándem transmitter . I have followed the programming for this model assigning H-3. The transmitter sticks are correct and working, throttle, elevator, aileron and rudder... but the single pole connector of the gyroscope gain I don't know how to assign a channel and make it operative. Could you help me in this aspect. Thank you very much.
Great video. I’ve been setting up planes with my X18SE and have figured a lot of this stuff out already, but setting up a few helicopters next. So far I’m liking Ethos…once you get the basics down it’s pretty easy to set things up. P.S. I have a crazy mom also.😂
Quite a departure from my JR 12X. But did not work out for me. I wish someone would just post a basic heli setup file that could be modified and cloned at will. 😢
It's a little bit too complicated.. I would set all to the Flightmodes. It's a mess to search for the right switch when flying. I have no Idea, what it's good for to use seperate switches.
Hi Mr, i think you have a mistake, channel 6 is for pitch, no in channel 5, chanel 5 is normaly for gyro o gyro gain. I dont want ofense you, Thank you for this video.
you can channel map anyway you want, as long as thr receiver can handle, i fly AETR. where channel 4 is gyro or if you use spektrum it is spektrum norm is TAER Channel 1 = Throttle Channel 2 = Aileron Channel 3 = Elevator Channel 4 = Rudder Channel 5 = Gear Channel 6 = Aux1 (Pitch on a heli model) Channel 7 = Aux 2, and so on spektrum you are correct, it can be change in these radios, thats nice, but thanks
Great tutorial video....thanks for sharing...👍

Thanks this made it a lot easier to set up my helicopter. Great post.

Thanks for uploading this video,
I'm sure it will help a lot of friends who fly helicopters.
How do you setup tail rotor mix . To work with throttle. As you increase throttle the tail as to have some mix to compensate for tork .

How are the delays activated when changing flight modes?
How do you get the switch working in a sim with ethos
Thank you very much!!!

may i know what is the meaning of H3 / HE3 / HR3, thank you very much
