Despite the pressure you could feel during those breaks, you kept talking to the camera & most importantly, kept doing your best when presenting your story to the companies. I went to the HPF, and it's pretty draining, pitching the whole day. In addition to the appointment slots that you arrange, there is also a general line that you can stand in, and pitch to random companies. When I was there, I kept circulating in the general line, until my appointment time came (in part why it was so draining). Most of the presentees at the table were pretty nice (occasionally you'll get someone thorny, but it's not the norm). One thing I'll say is that you'll never want to pitch the full 5 minutes. Pitch for about 1-2 minutes, then leave time for Q&A. Also, bring a one-sheet with your logline, synopsis, contact information, and a cover design (if you decided to do one for your story). Illustrations and photos work well, if you have them.
Besides a one sheet with what you mentioned, what else should I bring ? Ima random bum with nothing but a killer idea for an anime, I want to attend the August 2nd festival but idk how to go about it.
