Join me on a trip to the Desert Rats Memorial Site based in Thetford Forest, Norfolk. The tank troups wew trained here in there thousands in just a short few months before their campaign in North Africa then onto Berlin to play a decisive, important role in World War 2, headed by Monty Montgomery. Quiet, unassuming site steeped in history from this era.
