i honestly wish we could change the size of our island normally, i'd love a smaller island so decorating and terraforming would be less stressful on my tiny brain
i think the biggest reason i get burn out with my islands is definitely because of the size. this is a great idea! small, medium, and large options would be fun since everybody does differently detailed islands

Those hours can be spaced out as much as you like but you only have 24 hours to fully design the island. Froggycrossing and Mayor Mori are both channels doing/have done a design an island (full scale) in 30 days challenge, so maybe base your rules off those? It could be interesting to see how you do it on a tiny island in 24 hours.

it actually does! It takes into account only whats available to you (not taking into account ladders and poles). So basically, if you never actually get the first bridge put up, it'll only take into account the starting area you get. Similarly, because Dagnel has a smaller island, it'll only take into account the land that he can reach, and not non-existent land

You say the secret to three stars is flowers. I, who timetraveled a lot earlygame, neglected the flowers on top of the raised land. So when I went to check my rating, I was told I had too many flowers. Crazy, huh? It took me two days and maybe 4 hours to remove all of the flowers on the mountain.
Just thought of a cool challenge - how long would it take for you to collect every single reaction in the game? Idk if you should include HHP, but you can if you want!
Maybe try to decorate the itty-bitty island like you would normally, with little areas and stuff like everyone does! But thing is you have to make it aesthetically pleasing and not just smooshed together and awkward looking. I have no idea if you’re a decorating kinda guy though, I just hope it gives you a couple ideas lol. Thanks for reading if you did ^^

Just a hint! Once you get the island rating, you start off with one star. And then once you get 9-10 Villagers, you’ll automatically get 2 stars

You would probably need an extra acre because of ponds and upper tier fishing. Or you use Nook Miles Islands.
