I am a new subscriber and enjoying your videos immensely but today you almost broke this Canadian's heart 😮💨💔 You tossed a Gordon Lightfoot CD to the side saying, "Don't know this guy!" and later again another CD from another box. Gordon is a Canadian treasure, one of our most prolific singer song writers. He defined the folk/pop scene of the 60s and 70s. He was actually from my home town of Orillia, Ontario, Canada, attended school with my eldest siblings. He passed away on May 1 of 2023 at the age of 85, packed venues wherever he toured until the summer before his passing. FYI my heart isn't broken. I still listen to his numerous albums regularly. If your Dad knows of his music, he's got better taste than many. Love you guys and wish you all the success. Your energy together is positive and delightful. GO GORDON! ps.... you've been schooled.
The both of you are fantastic shoppers. I didn’t know you had a what not sale . Good lick Saturday. Glad you can be together. Fun fun fun. Love your channel.
Picked up a vintage L.L. Bean boat and tote canvas bag for a $1 today. Never would have ever thought about getting it if I hadn't heard you say to be on the look out. Thanks!
That Scrabble is probably from the mid to late 70's. The "copyright" 1948 is when the name Scrabble was copyrighted and changed from "Criss Cross Words" Also Styrofoam wasn't used for retail packaging .until in the mid 50's. Still a nice set and yes, Scrabble pieces have been good sellers in the past.
Hi! I used to work at the station that produced Antiques Roadshow. They also did a limited series called “Market Warriors” that was a lot of fun. You two may enjoy it as well!
P.s sick score on all those old tools, my wife was a store manager for “sears “ for many years, that’s pretty much majority of my tools is craftsman, being as at least once twice a years they would go through the entire store inventory etc and stuff that’s been sitting so long in storage, and never brought up too the floor, they would mark it down so damn low so instead of sending it back and losing money all around. They would have these huge sales parking lot style or sidewalk and she would get stuff dirt cheap and with her discount. Cool scores though guys .
Artwork is very difficult to research sell, for a couple of reasons. One, there’s lots of non professional artists who create art but don’t necessarily sell, so you are not going to find them in a google search. Next, there’s lots of “art factories” overseas that churn out paintings sold at furniture stores or TJ Maxx, the signatures on those are fake. The majority of art people own fall into those two categories. The listed artists you can find on the inter website are those who have shown at galleries or are in a museum. You have to have had a press blurb or a biography published to have web presence. That’s not to say you could find expensive art at a garage or estate sale, it’s just pretty rare. I sell art all the time but I price it very low (under $100, most under $50) because most of what I find is not “listed” artists. And when you pack framed pieces with glass, pool noodles slit and on the frames with foam over the glass is the way to go. Lots of small and big bubble wrap. Framing is expensive so having the piece arrive intact is important.
Just so you know I seen Karen and Larry the other day ……in Ohio. Don’t worry they are only here for a visit. You guys are a awesome couple. I pray the Lord blesses you guys bunches..
I saw a nice coffee cup at a yard sale, flipped it over to look at the bottom to get more information like I always do and poured coffee all over the table
On the artwork look for prints in the old cardboard shipping tubes . Chances are if someone paid to have it shipped it is a good chance it is worth some decent money.
I really enjoy watching your channel. You and your wife are such sweet people. I just love how you relate to other people, so light-hearted, always ready with a joke but not at anyone’s expense. Looking forward to your next adventure. ❤
I think the "roses" at 3:00 are actually for curtains. They screw into the wall beside the window frame and hold your drapes away from centre, giving them that swooped to the side look.... at least I think that's what that was.
I finally found some great items at yard sales today, including a Saladmaster grater thing like you picked up in one of your latest videos-I only paid $2 & it came with all of the attachments! I was so excited that I couldn’t pull out my money fast enough. Also got a good deal on a Fossil leather purse but the leather needs a little cleaning. What do you recommend?
@@beardedthriftmachine I remember you mentioning that before but wasn’t sure if it was just a conditioner or also a cleaner. I will get some ordered-thanks!
The rise things are for curtains guys, I’m 50 now and I remember as a little kid my mom had these in our house way back, now that I think of it all the stuff I grew up with is either coming back becoming popular again, or worth some cash, I wish the stuff was made like the older days , everything lasted longer and was better quality for sure. I still have some childhood stuff that were my toys when I was little, and now is really collectible, gray video as always guys, been watching and supporting from Southern California for some time now. Stay blessed.
I did that one day, cute mug with coffee. I laughed and apologies! Oh I got a flower thing too! I think mine is one of the better ones. And I think I got the same garmin. lol
I love that stool. My Gpa's name was Fred and one of the few things we have of his is an antique stool he made that looks kind of like that but wooden. Btw we're from Florida.😊😮 Love the videos you guys put out.
Molly moo and me are going to sleep now. Been a dry afternoon and night. Rain forecast for some time the weekend. At least I don’t have to use my garden hose on my flowers. Goodnight God bless you both ( and Willow).🏴xxxxx
What are you doing to clean tools when you get them? I picked up some Made in USA older Craftsmen tools for $1 a piece. All in great condition, they just need some cleaning and something to make them look nice and shiny again.
how do you feel about the new way of selling where you have the buyers come along with you? you hold up items and they buy them if they don’t want anything you put it back. could always keep whatever they didn’t buy for the eBay store
That's funny she looking at bracelets and can here you "I'm to cheep to buy a new one"like pulp fiction same scene from different views..... Tarantino film
Thanks so much for watching!! Some of these purses will be available on whatnot on Saturday -- www.whatnot.com/s/D3KbQ2DG
Love to watch you two? Man, you did sooo good at these sales! Holy moly! So many sweet, awesome pieces! ( :

Those ROSE pieces were curtain tie back posts !

I loved Market Warriors I wish they still produced that show.
Wonderful work on everything you bought! Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
The purse was an unbelievable deal, great job. As always,, thanks for sharing the fun.
I'm over here yelling "GRAB THE RED COACH!"
I must have heard you lol
It looks in excellent condition 👌
Me too. I’ll take it.
The old tools always remind me of my late father’s shed.

0:47 great buy on the picture
The Scrabble board set wasn't made in 1948 because they didn't HAVE styrofoam in 1948! That styrofoam was pure white. No dis-coloration at all.
I was thinking that too. I have one that I got for a birthday present in mid 70s.

Filmed 3 months ago. I enjoyed, binge watching.
On the artwork look for prints in the old cardboard shipping tubes . Chances are if someone paid to have it shipped it is a good chance it is worth some decent money.
Another great video - it amazes me at how cheaply folks are selling quality items. I agree with you that it is a combo of needing cash and downsizing.

Thanks for sharig all the fun finds. Glad you found so many great pieces. The Purses were Super.. Tools were great, also..
Those “roses” @ 3:07 are curtain tie-backs I believe. Depending on the maker can be worth a bit! ❤
Nice finds. Seems I can never run across tool deals like you find, might be a good thing though, I would want to keep them all. Keep Hustlin'!!

We use Dr martens leather balm for a lot of products

FYI, your price/info squares were being cut off in this video, either at the top or at the left. Otherwise, great yard sale trip.
We had to fix the size due to it having a border
I don’t know how true this is, but another reseller said that eBay favors listings that don’t have “Vintage” as the first word
I LOVE watching your channel. Such a GREAT use of my time! Donna xoxo

You mean the rose things.
I did that one day, cute mug with coffee. I laughed and apologies!
Oh I got a flower thing too! I think mine is one of the better ones.
And I think I got the same garmin. lol
lol :) that flower this is pretty awesome
I hadn’t seen you all in a while. Good to see and hear both of you. Love watching
Catch you on the next one !🥰xxxxxx
Most of the garage sales ,etc been too here.they either don't price things ,or they so over price it ,that its ridiculous.
We moved from Murrells Inlet 1.5 yrs ago. Miss it so much. Lived in Twin Oaks off McDowell Shortcut.
may go to one in the morning. may see y'all there.
Those old bubble balancers (tire balancer) can be worth a few hundred. People still use them.
Love watching your yard sale videos. Just a thought, may want to check Seko watches for sales. Some go for high amounts.
Wow...gotta love a lottery ticket item found at a yard sale!
I love that stool. My Gpa's name was Fred and one of the few things we have of his is an antique stool he made that looks kind of like that but wooden. Btw we're from Florida.😊😮 Love the videos you guys put out.
Thanks so much for watching from Florida! One of our favorite states to visit
Thanks again for your video, cool stuff, take care and God bless, Agnes from Scotland 🏴
Thank you ! And thanks so much for watching!!
Great finds

Good night 😴
Nice bags Kayla 😊
That dog is sooooo handsome 😊
Great finds❤❤

Great score on the old tools Julian 😊
By the wheel balancer were some GIANT scissors, good money there.
You did sooo great on those bags and Great score on the Kpiz?? It’s actually Capiz. Just looked up some pieces.
Great fines thanks for taking us along.
Would 1948 Scrabble have had polystyrene packaging ? Perhaps just the copyright of the game rather than when that game was produced ?
Awesome as usual ❤
You guys did amazing!!!!
I’m curious of the post card you have on your white board in your garage. Why does it always look blurry ?
I used to use one of those tire balancers in the day at a Phillips 66 station, they are more accurate than the spin balancers
Fun video. Hoping the Capiz shell decorations sell well.
I didn’t know they were so expensive
Sweet Video as always. Did you check the handsaws? Some looked like vintage Disston. If so they are worth picking up for resale.
It was great meeting you yesterday
Where will you be selling the picture? I would love to get it for my sister.
That short fuzz is called Flocking or Flocked 😅😊❤
Scrabble 1948!, amazing! I $3! I love playing scrabble,I even have a Welsh language one 😊
Wow 4 I's,2 c's & 1 vowel must be worth big points🤗
@@markcutting6504 read up on the Welsh alphabet. You will find it interesting.🏴
All of my tools were craftsman and after four house moves and two sons I no longer have any
Excellent 👍
Thanks so much for watching!
Well done kid not to shabby. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Lucky rabbit 🐇
i have those cups also
Too much plastic to be 1948. That's Scrabble copyright, not that edition. Not 40s graphics, either. Love the Coach!

That’s wouldn’t really work when making a video … very difficult
But the chair in the back of the car was from quite a few videos ago ?
Love your videos
Ready for this 😅🎉
thanks so much for watching!
great video!

I was wondering how long it’d take you to look in those fishing tackle boxes 😂
I like your sticker, but just can't put a sticker on my 2005 Mustang GT!!!!!!!
Did you forget the scrabble game?
