she's been singing her entire life, to the point where she'd carry around a mini microphone and practice whenever she could or just in case she ever got too anxious, and so it's probably helped her through a lot of things - her voice probably became her comfort, because singing is the thing she's always been exceptionally good at and can rely on, and i think it's beautiful tbh
