Kana's gaze makes me think of the stars that Ai Hoshino had with Ruby and Aqua, it's as if she were showing what she wants, what she enjoys, like Akane said when she acted the same as Ai.
The funny part about whole this scene it was not even in the script. But Aqua probably just wanted to took advantage of the whole situation just to be physical with her xd.

Also he already decided to quit from acting completely & work in production team with Gotanda when Kana recruit him for Sweet Today. The main reason he decided to take acting seriously bec Kana compliment his acting during Sweet Today despite he's struggling. Also the manga literally confirmed he always has romantic feelings for Kana since her title drop moment during JIF concert again so I don't know why you said he only see her as a friend only.

sad that they downplayed kana in Live action... this theater arc was kana and akane moments.... but i would get it it would cost alot... yes aqua also his rage and crying was top...sadly in Live action rushed and budget

Oshi no Ko is not a rom-com, is a story about vengeance. The way i see it, Aqua is to Kana what Sasuke is to Sakura (N, NS): an obsession and a curse. In the previous episode Akane tried to bring out Kana's best acting skills and got nothing. But, since Kana is obsessed with Aqua an he reads her like an open book (cause she's a simple minded teenage girl), he got her to do what Akane wanted from the beginning.
