East Indian Parade, Holy Cross Parish Feast, Kurla Village 2022

Built in 1580. The Holy Cross Church, Kurla this year celabrated 442 years. The east Indian community of kurla organises a parish fiesta each year on the feast day gathering all parishoners of various ward to participate in the traditional East Indian Parade. A variety of creative floats convaying various social messages, The parishoners dress up in treditional outfits, Various horse carts(Recklas/Tangas) from other parishes partisipate in the parade. The celebration starts from the Village cross and it passes through the Kurla Christian Village then leading to the Holy Cross Church.
