I have to be honest though - I think it will be very hard for you to compete against the top 55 or so of talent - but - never impossible because you have potentially with the right songs a very good voice. I know you’re parents and family are proud of you as they should be. Please come back Courtney to idol I mean - you should try - maybe the judges will assign you a better partner this year you know - you do have a good voice - good luck and take life one day at a time.
Anne Liesveld no, these shows don’t work that way. it’s not all open call audition that’s not how it works. It seems that way on TV. In reality, you go thru at least 2/3 callbacks BEFORE you even get to go in front of the judges. If you make it past those first couple cuts, then you get to go in front of them. she skipped that process.
To all speculating, in TV N O T H I N G happens unplanned, they wanted to generate feelings because all the same stuff over again gets boring. Don't be so gullible...
