Need to fight the fear and start raising the bar. Good stuff… that farms looks like a dream place of most skaters. Is it in San Diego I guess… ?
Alright, question with taller transition, 5’+. Do you actually olllie or just carry mo up the trans and pop off copping? Like hitting sidewalk cracks when your board pops up. 🤙
My first truck sponsor! Buddy Carr would come to my local skatepark (owner I believe) and eventually he asked if I'd like to skate Tracker, it was short lived though haha!
alot of people snap the ollie too early. gotta let the front wheels pass the coping as part of the timing. just like an ollie over a crack in the ground you want the tail snapping close to it
For vert ollies not everyone snaps the tail. On a miniramp without vert, it's better to snap your tail like a street ollie. Would have been helpful to mention this.
@thed.z.a.4658 not true at all on a mellow ramp if you bonk you will probably be completely over the deck you need to pop hard enough to not hang up but not hard enough to miss the ramp. Vert is actually a little easier but alot more scary gotta do less but the ramps are always alot bigger

If you wanna skate like Taylor, my suggestion is to not even focus on the Ollie. Instead, focus on the very basics and focus all of your attention on just that: the fundamentals. There's such a difference between someone who understands how to skate versus someone who skates.

Make sure you stay hydrated out there, also a good idea to a eat a banana or take some electrolytes before hand. That's what helps me with the muscle weirdness.
