we got this for our grandson for his bday so of course i had to pull it out to check it out, turned it on right out of the box and it took off hit the ceiling the tv and crash knocked off a propeller, put it back together and found that you could hear the motor spin but the propeller wasn't spinning. so of course i took it apart to see what makes this thing tick and found that the motor had pushed up so the gear on the end wasn't meshing with the gear that turns the propeller. added some gorilla super glue and pushed it back down problem solved. need a very small flat blade screwdriver to remove the screws. anyway the blades do hurt if you get hit so I'm thinking this wont be a good toy for my 4yr old grandson. I am thinking that if out side its gonna take off like yours did lol! good thing its like $12
