My Brembo kit arrived yesterday. Amazing looking caliper. Thanks again for your time and fast shipping. You have any plans for a wing? Nothing out there for me yet.
Stay away from these G-loc brake pads, they caused damaged to my rotors on my C8 Z51 and I end up needing a new rotors and the brake pads, also Danny from G loc stopping answering emails regarding these issues.
Hmmm, that would be the first time we’ve seen that. G-loc makes a wide range of compounds, and it’s important to get the right pads for the job. If you tried to use their street compound (GS1) in extreme conditions, you’re gonna run into problems, and vice versa if you try running their race compound on the street, it’s not gonna perform very well. Not sure what happened in your situation, but we’ve sold a lot of these, and had many repeat purchases. Additionally, I’ve been through 3 sets of G-loc pads on my C8, including racetrack usage with their R8 and R10 compounds, and they’ve performed and warn perfectly. Sorry to hear about your experience with their pads, but your experience doesn’t match anything we’ve seen with our own vehicle or customers.
That’s my experience and from what I’m reading online I’m not the only one unfortunately. My biggest issue is the lack of a good customer service after having this issue.
@@evanphotography5149 I shared this with Danny at G-loc, and he sent me the email exchange. Looked like you couldn’t supply photos (of the rotors) and despite him offering to talk to you on the phone multiple times, he said you never called. I’m not trying to undermine what you’re sharing here, but in all fairness it doesn’t really seem like you tried to work with him/them. Brakes are a consumable, and if there was an issue with their product I’m sure they want to A) know about it and B) do what they can to help. From his perspective, and mine frankly, it does seem you’re trying to damage their reputation in a public forum (yt comments), but haven’t provided them enough information to evaluate the situation you’re claiming.

I want a high wing, just haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
Will they work on non Z51 equipped C8's?
Yes, g-loc makes pads in all compounds for non-z51 C8’s. Which compound would you like? We sell them on Motoroso pre-bedded.
Y pay a extra 20 that should be standard
I don’t know of another company that even offers this, let alone include it in their pricing.
