I think that's a dragonfly rather than a butterfly. The smaller one gives me moth vibes. All of your cards are beautiful!
Yep, I always get mixed up with bugs! hahaha
Nina designed it and said it's a moth. To me, it's going to be a dragon fly on some cards and mystery beautiful bug on others! LOL! 😂

Five (or six depending on how you look at it) different cards. All are great and completely different card designs but you had me at "PURPLE" X's TWO, I am in love with both of the purple leaf cards (yepper, I'm one of those sometimes or often annoying purple loving gals that thinks purple should always be invited to the party) Just to let you know I also really liked the orang'ish/yellow card that you changed to green & rust, I think it was soft appearing and almost dreamy looking. Thanks for sharing your kit unboxing the the cards you created using the upcoming card kit.

Wow! I think this is one of my favorite kits. The kits that have too many options overwhelm me or there are things that I just don't care for. :)
I think on the card that you didn't go with - it is the butterfly location and the colors on the butterfly being opposite of the color transition of the background. The replacement card popped more. My fav card is the last one. Great color combo and clean and simple design

I love all of the cards you made. I'm not sure which one is my favorite. I really love that cut and emboss folder! I love the color blend on the first one that you made, but I am more drawn to the second one.

Dang Cathy, you did an amazing job. I swear, i thought that 4th one was not gonna make it, but omg, i loved the end result! They are all gorgeous!
I loved all the cards, but my favorite was the green ferns with the sun and moth. The color coordination made the whole card pop. The color contrast between the green fern background caused the red & yellow moth to pop. It was overall gorgeous.
I liked all of the cards. One thing I think about the one card you said you didn't like so much, what I like about the second card is it's because you use the green on it. And you're using a lot of earthy deep colors and the green is what actually made that card. Plus you've got the butterfly flying on top of that sunburst and that covers that up in the first card. So the second one is my favorite. I cannot wait to get my kit!

You got very adventurous on your kit usage. It must have been that eclipse as I even tried something new, painting a 3D embossing folder with pearlescent paints. It came out beautiful. Anyhow, loved the cards you created and thanks for a great video.

How long does it take you to come up with your card making inspiration ?
I usually spend one day on the filming. So… I start around 7:30 a.m. ish ( i love making stuff in the morning!) and then I wrap up around 3 p.m. ish! I break for lunch and coffee!

Why to cut the rays if they must look beautiful in the terracota area.
so...how long does the sticky ink stay stickY? you know--embossing ink.
I mean… a good several minutes!
