@@_charihawkins please guve some tips for 5Km running under 24 min and 28min by maintaining continuous pace and how to start for 5km by speed or by normal pace
Really this lady made such a big difference. I have been over striding my whole life.. today I ran so easy, no pain, kept my heart rate 10bpm lower for the same pace and was just cranking out the kms.
Be careful of striking your heels. Lean slightly forward and keep your chest out, shoulders back to increase lung function. Also, cadence remains the same whether you are running a 10:00/mile pace or a 5:00/mile pace. 90 RPM.
Bruh I was always taught to widen my stride and I never had the speed as I continued to focus on widening the stride. This changes the whole way I think about running bahah thank you for the tip
Please keep making these. I’m still unsure. Walking, running… I’m still not SEEING it! Visuals are the best. Please keep showing these cause I NEED more ❤
First touch down is still infront of the hips in the second one. Is there basically no pressure on the ground or are you pulling a bit? Also the super exaggerated over striding may not be helpful because the problem can present less obviously but if people compare it to this they may think they're doing ok. A more comprehensive breakdown would be cool.
it compensates if you use your glutes, the bigger and stronger the glutes the less u hinge at running or at least that is what i've seen. Maybe its more useful to lean forward at the starting phase while sprinting, its still ambiguous to me but you feel the difference from running with one posture or the other so you know which feels better
Can you put all four or maybe even eight angles of your running motion??So we can actually see how much your feet are rotated outwards/inwards from the upfront, from the back etc... I feel that this is what no one is doing anywhere on the internet...I think it would be a big plus for your content, quality wise, but really helpful at the same time... I feel like my feet are very weirdly positioned outwards when i use them, and i simply can not do anything about it. Would like to hear someone elses opinion on this suggestion...If people agree like this comment so she can see it..
I love it but I feel like the problem is I never see people running like the way in which these are exaggerated in the beginning. It’s unrealistic to perfectly fake bad form when you already have developed good form. Any way you could get clips of people who actually have improper form to compare with? That would be so helpful! Thank you!
I run like a dumb potato, that too for 10 kilometres. This is a life changing video, I believe now I can cross 14-15 kilometres. Can't wait to get back on the track.
Thank you so much I had worried that do I run correct or not as my knee is hurting after run by looking ur video I know hot to run right thanx a lot keep doing good stuff 😊.
Saw some old footage of myself and some guys in the military doing battle PT. A lot of your shorts are similar to how we did things (incorrectly). I wish I had this type of training, may have helped my ankles and knees more.
shorter people need quicker steps per minute. aim for 170, listen to a song that is 170 bpm and run to that beat but shorten your stride. Do it barefoot in your house and see the difference than take it to a treadmill. Then wear your shoes and replicate outside.
Chari has as much trouble running incorrectly as I do with running correctly.

How can the cadence stay the same at different speeds without over striding? I'm not arguing, but I am genuinely curious.
@@user-zt2vf6vx7p simple. It's the length of your stride.
@@user-zt2vf6vx7ppushing of the ground harder.
@user-zt2vf6vx7p my guess is the difference comes from how much you launch yourself forward.
Your running is beautiful ☺️

I love the way you run
Thank you ❤ keep running
Great song choice!
Every video I’ve seen so far has been Absolutely amazing!! Great instructions and detail…
Thank you for sharing ❤👍🏽
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ amazing your best coach 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Right! but, if you throw your hips forward more you are striking under your hips and covering more ground faster. I love your videos!
The scenery in this video makes me want to explore new running routes!
Your channel and Insta are a treasure trove of pro tips for us amateur duffers. Thank you!
Nice job❤️👏💯💪🏃
Շնորհակալություն ❤❤❤❤❤
Your channel just became my favorite running channel. Not only for the tips but for my fav hip hop song of all time playing on this short. Props.
The second form looks so much better
Slow motion is what we need ❤
I love the way you move! :o)
Love your tips👍👍👍
You have explained this a bunch of times but this video helped me so much because I am a visual learner!
Looks light, smooth and beautiful
Your tips are so useful !
Thank you.
I run now really different !

Our top girl runner does like the mix of the two and she’s freaking awesome
I have followed this tip and it worked to me
The instruction was clear. Thanks
The relief on my knees when I started doing this was insane.

Thank you. I see the difference 😊

I prefer the first one. Raising your knees high becomes quickly exhausting in long distance running.
Nice form 👍
Love those shoes 🥰
I've learnt so much from you. It's really helped. Thank you ❤
와.. 제 달리기의 자세의 문제가 뭔지 이제 확실히 이해했어요. 고마워요!!!
Have you ever thought of doing reviews on runners form? Because I would love that!!
Thanks! I been running incorrectly all this time no wonder my shin hurt sometimes because of the overstriding🥶
You are so good at demonstrating the differences! Yet, I still cannot get myself to run correctly. 😂
What a great tip ❤️🙂
Thank u you for the reminders
Thank you. Thank you
Chari can't even show us how people (likely me) effectively run incorrectly.. She's so clean with it. ❤
😊 gracias por tus consejos muy útiles
will continue to learn more things from you > thank you for sharing :)
Great video. I probably did some overstriding today.
Desearía correr así como tu, k técnica tan majestuosa

Such a fast difference in both thanks a alot
Do a start to finish and I’ll start running!!! ❤ Please!!
I watched this reel because you are beautiful mam and i love your content❤
Perfect rolling 👍
Spring in your running step provided by Youth.
Looks so much cooler when you stride right !! I suffer from looking like Albert Pujols when I run. Help me Chari, lol.
In the first one it also looked like her feet were too close to the ground, like she wasn’t lifting them. Perfect lesson!

Why do some videos say you should lean forward a little, like hinging at the hip? You always look pretty straight.

Makes me feel even MOORE magical 😅
As a sprinter, I used to be heavy footed.
You can get with this or you can with that..... 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉cos this is where it's at ❤
When ur back leg straightens, ur upper body is vertically upright, and not inline with ur back leg....u notice that?
Could you please create a video on the best types of running shoes?
Would love if you could share breathing technique too..😅
Seems like in the first one, the heels touch the ground primarily
