Materials used in this session:
• A4, Daler Rowney, Aqualine smooth, hot pressed, 300gms, watercolour paper.
• I used: Winsor and Newton professional watercolours: cadmium yellow, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, sepia, lamp black, indigo, olive green and sap green.
• Horadam Schminke Super granulating watercolours: Desert green and desert brown.
• Round brushed 8, 1, 3/0, 10/0.
• Sakura gelly pen 0.5

Thank you so much Helene. It's the first time I've had a go at painting a bee this size (on an A4 sheet of paper), I usually just do small bees around flowers, so glad it looks okay. I also really enjoyed painting it!

Awesome so excited to find your channel beautiful artwork. I’m always terrified of suggesting what I might do a little different on someone’s artwork but it’s just a thought what about a little tint of blue around the sky part it’s still magnificent❤❤❤
Thank you! It's absolutely fine to make suggestions and always interesting. I do often add some background colour but not always until after filming. Partly because the videos get too long and partly because I sometimes leave it a few days to decide what I want to do if anything. For instance the sparrows I recently did now have background colour and branches with tree blossom. Hope that makes sense!

What if the drawing is the problem??? I can paint- but struggle with drawing
Hi Shirley, there is a line drawing at the end of the video that you can pause and screen shot. Or I provide a PDF on my Facebook group that you've welcome to join, link in the description. Alternatively, there is the link to the reference photo in the description that you could download, print and trace. Hope that helps.
