I went with Slam Metal for a while, but that didn’t bring it either in the longer run. Now I learned about Beatdown. Had heard the term before, but always stayed away because of the supposed punk/hardcore label… I desired REAL metal! Little did I know that THIS is maybe the closest subgenre to the metallic niche that I adore so much. It was a weird journey, along a circle, starting from Death Metal, ultimately ending up elsewhere, but also at Death Metal *head explodes*
Top tier underrated instant classic, anyone got song timestamps? Is this on bandcamp or purchasable anywhere? Need this to get amped before work each day
I'm one of those metalheads that absolutely FUCKING DESPISES country music...... with a few exceptions. The Stanley Brothers are one, and I really appreciate the O' Death sample at the beginning. Old school country about death and despair is metal.

@@SurvivalSpheres there’s a handful of bands combining slam and beatdown. Look up snuffed on sight, peeling flesh, or nephrectomy.

Not quite, this is as close to metalcore as hardcore gets though. Then they throw beatdowns in and that makes it sound like deathcore
