paddys potato peelers if you look in the notes, you’ll see Bakewell Cookshop are offering a 5% discount to my subs. I recommend them for their excellent service anyway, but this just puts a cherry on top!
I love that Gentleman's clip Slick, but if I could only own 1 it would have to be the MOP, I'm sure you could understand that? But wait! Does the N+1 equation work for the Gentleman's clip too? 🤣😂🤣. And another solid job of craftsmanship by Lee👍 I really need some Ironwood in my life Slick😣 Slick, please email me with info to contact David at the Bakewell shop. I want to see if there are any Ironwood Barlows he can point me to.. As Always, Thanks My Friend for All you do.🙏 The World is a better place with Slick Slicer cutting up the Video Screen!😊
Warthogg he has two really stunning ones at the moment. His email is david@bakewellcookshop.com I bought the mop gentleman’s clip he had, but I’m sure he can get more. Remember to ask for the Slick Slicers discount.
chris osh it’s, I think a Scottish word, for a housemaid who works both upstairs and downstairs. In other words between the two or a ‘maid of all works’.
Wow! Wow! and Wow! All of those knives a beautiful. I can see the gent's clip being a Slim-line Barlow. I like the grain in the Gentleman's Clip. It doesn't have to character that you see on the burl in that Barlow but it definitely has some great grain! I have no issue with Stainless in a knife. The fact that his file work is done by hand and gets it right! Shame about knives coming from the factory with a "butter knife" edge.
Tobias Gibson the TEW ones come sharp, it’s really Arthur Write that lets the side down. These are my favourite knives to collect. I’ve other Sheffield knives, but TEW are my favourites by far. I’ve 19 to date, and all stunning!
David S I bought this one three weeks ago. If you speak to David at Bakewell, I’m sure he’ll get you an even nicer one. Their current crop of wood is phenomenal. And drop my name and you’ll also get a discount. He has wo spectacular ironwood Barlows right now too.
@@slick_slicers Mine's been dispatched - let's see what it's like when it arrives! I had a look at the Bakewell Cookshop's website but couldn't find any TEW Premium Range knives at all. Do you have to phone David to get access to these - a bit like the butcher in the League of Gentlemen?
David S at the moment. They’re putting up a new website and they’ll be on it round the middle of next week. Right now if you ring or email him he’ll show you the current stock. He’ll give you pictures of the caul knife you’re looking to buy, or even a short video. It’s not the same as going in in person, but it’s the next best thing.
Really nice iron wood, impressive creation by Lee White. Thanks for this video.
Stone Mason these knives just keep getting better and better!
The ironwood is absolutely stunning. Beautiful finish on those knives.
Grom Molotok it’s right up there with MoP! I’ve arranged a 5% discount on these from my favourite TEW retailer BakewellCookshop.com
Lightweight, small, easy-carry, non-threatening, practical and useable too? Now that's a good girl right there.
Zen Ali a really practical knife. See the notes for a 5% discount on these.
The shape of that one reminds me a little bit of my slimline trapper. Only way, way fancier. lol Thanks for showing this one, it's beautiful. Cheers!
David Kurle it’s certainly like it.
Holly smokes I love them knives!!!!!!! Oh man beautiful piece!!!!! Thanks so much for showing it!!!!!!!
JerseyKnife Guy very happy to. More to come over the next month.

@@slick_slicers The wheels are in motion my friend!
I sent you an email with details of my intentions ✌️😁
I never came across a Lee White gentlemans clip, I wonder if I can still find one in Ironwood ,,, nice really
If you ask Jane at the Famous Sheffield Shop or David at the Bakewell Cookshop, I’m sure that, if they haven’t got one, they can get you one.
A very pretty useful little knife, a bit on the slim side for me but a work of art.
chris osh it’s. Sturdier than the penknife, but not as stout as the Barlow. A true ‘tweenie’! And there’s word rarely spoken these days
@@slick_slicers Tweenie! I think the last time I used that was to describe One Direction fans.

@@slick_slicers Brilliant, I have learnt something today, that use makes a lot of sense.
