I have a couple of years the industry and I've seen many young professionals being layoff, and I can tell you, you have the correct attitude to make it happen, to be sucessful, don't lose that, don't became cynical if things don't work right away, keep that mojo burning, any further bumps are not the end of your career by any measure, even if given the difficulty of the times things end up with you out of the field for some time, you can enter it again down the road, keep learning, keep your edge sharp. Keep coding kid.
Hi, Justin! Thanks for that sincere speech. Yeah, the whole world is changing right now. But don't give up. As the saying goes: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I wish you all the luck! It would be interesting if you could make a content about basic principals of coding and how you started coding.
Dude, you will be good. Not ok, but really good. You have a good social following and willing to learn, so you will go whenever you like to. I got my laid off letter 2 months ago but still stick with a project to get it out in production. Currently, two months later in this state and I already can't wait to be out that job and work on my own plans. Jealous to your fast quite ;)
IT is now standing on quality with experience, a shift away from quantity without knowledge or skills, in last 20 years a lot of mismanagement took place
@@justinbchau true! were there any courses or projects that you made that really helped you understand javascript? I'm currently trying to figure out a good method to learn JS better
I've been following you a few months after you start your IG profile. MEN. You are such an inspiration to me. I started studing Front end dev. because of you. It's sooo dificult to study for code when you work, train (crossfti too!) and do some other things that takes you time. But when I dont have strength I look at your videos or IG and get motivated again, and back in the game. Hope everything will be alright for you, good luck and I will wait for more videos and IG content. Best wishes from Argentina!
I want to be self taught to become an IT specialist/software engineer. Can you please tell me what books to red first or what books you have read first? I also want to attend a bootcamp too.
man your videos make me want to set up C++ on visual studio. I have not done that because seems like installing C++ is the hardest part. While learning program itself is just practice if that make sense lol
As a fellow IT specialist, im also thinking about having a career switch with being a developer. Hoping you could find suitable jobs for you. 🙏🏼 hoping everything will be alright.🙏🏼
Genuinely wish you all the best bro. Hope it all works out well, you seem like a person I would love to work with. Unfortunately I am in the same boat as you right now and also on the job hunt. Otherwise I would have loved to help you.
Yoooo. I used to work at Central Computers too, in San Mateo. Now I'm a frontend engineer at LinkedIn bro. Let's connect and collab
