*THE EXPLORER KIT IN DIAMOND, PEARL AND PLATINUM.* That thing was amazing! It gave you access to some _really_ cool rare items, often before you can find them in the overworld!
I personally prefer the newer EXP Share, if only because it let's me reliably grind up six pokemon at once instead of just two. It makes it a lot easier to try new combinations of pokemon.
I will always use fly. Always. Two reasons: 1. I can't remember what town anything is in, so I gotta look at my map, and sense fly can take me to the town from my map, it's just faster. 2. There's something hilarious about battling someone, then just flying away. Especially when talking to them face to face, with a fast flying type.
Bonus Exp was a really cool mechanic that sadly only appeared in two Fire Emblem games. You'd basically get BEXP as a reward for doing well in chapters, and sometimes for achieving optional objectives like freeing NPCs from prison cells, saving a certain number of villages or NOT killing certain enemies (like ones who are being forced to fight you against their will). You could use it betwen chapters to level people, though 1 BEXP wasn't always world 1 "real" exp. (e.g. at high levels, you needed more like 1000 BEXP per level up instead of 100) Like I said though, it could break the game really badly, like if you dumped it all one one character or save-reset abused until you got good lv ups. Radiant Dawn tried to fix that by making it so you couldn't get more than 3 stat-ups for a BEXP level... but that only made it even better, because you would ALWAYS get exactly 3 stats. Say you had a General who had capped HP, Strength, Skill and Defence. If you used BEXP on them, they'd gain huge amounts of Speed, because Mag, Speed, Luck and Res are their only non-capped stats and the game has to raise 3 of them.
The new EXP share is a godsend! I like grindy JRPGs to a certain extent, but having to babysit all the lower level characters and Pokemon for hours can be frustrating and made me stop playing the older games after a while. Now, I have several level 100 Pokemon that I'm proud of raising, even with the cheat
korohacker I honestly just used it to keep everyone at the same level during the main game... for Lv. 100s I just used ORAS Blissey Bases. If set up properly, even a Pokémon with the lowest EXP growth rate can go from 1 to 100 in 2-3 days
In Pokemon yellow you eventually get the exp share but that's like almost at the end of the game and even with it on it sucks it's better to turn it off
9:18 A lot of other RPGs give the entire party the same amount of experience. If its too easy, just scale HOW MUCH exp is given back a little, divide it up further like FF4.
Experience Share in X&Y was wonderful, as it encouraged the idea of having an interchangeable party of around 10+ Pokemon. Many people go with the party of 6, with 2 or 3 bench Pokemon for specific situations, and that's boring! I'm usually have about 18 active Pokemon when I play.
+cowfish13 I feel like the old experience share was better, you could still have a pokemon piggyback experience, but it actually made you think about keeping your main pokemon at the same level
I would agree but my issue is that the Exp. Share grants a net increase in the amount of experience points gained. A much better system would be if the victorious pokémon would gain half the experience points and the other half is distributed among the rest.
"you can carry thousands of dollars but need a box to put coins in it". Yeah let me introduce to a technological revolution called a credit card, but as revolutionnary as it is it still can't hold physical coins.
Yeah, you can carry items ranging from evolution stones, mega stones poke balls, etc in full stacks, as well as fishing rods, a bike, and other key items within your bag, but you can't fit in a few measly coins.
Hey JWittz! I remember that you talked about how it would be cool if you could pick what your profession could be in Pokemon (breeder, professor, contests) and it reminded me of a Pokemon fangame i am currently playing. It's called Pokemon Godra and you can actually pick certain career paths (army, Pokemon safari manager, professor, etc.) It would be cool if you talked about it in a video (maybe clumped with other Pokemon fan games that are cool) and if anyone else is reading this, you should go play it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am!
Well, aside from the obvious Mega Bracelet (which changed Pokémon forever in a good way), my favorite item is definitely the *VS SEEKER*! I mean, before Pokémon online battles improved and before I became I competitive player, the one thing that I always wished for is to being able to REBATTLE trainers once again in the post game to prolong the game as much as possible and the VS Seeker was definitely the best thing to ever happen in the old days. Though, aside from HS/SS, there isn't a clear way to re-battle Gym Leaders, so I hope they fix that in future games as well. :)
Interestingly enough, I believe I was also hearing the Bike music from gen 4 playing in this videos background throughout the whole time (until sample GB music from HG/SS).
I dont think its the exp shares fault, but more so the the trainers you face in pokemon oras and x&y needed to be a much high level to make the game more challenging
I was hoping someone would mention this. For all his complaining about things Generation 1 got wrong, it's odd he didn't mention that his second favorite key item was created there!
For all of you complaing that the Gen 6, do you know how Experrience Share was called in Gen 1? It was called *Exp.All* guess what it did? Yes, it gave exp to *all* of the pokemon in your party.
CactusErebittsu and if Mintendo/Game Freak keep it like it is now, they should nerf it. That would fix most of the problems. That's what I hope atleast.
I enjoy Waterfall because it's a good alternative to Aqua Tail on Azumaril and physical Wishiwashi. You're sacrificing 10 base attack (80 is still good) for guarenteed 100 accuracy, as apposed to 90/90
Love the way you said "grinding" to share the experience points. It seriously bugged me tremendously to have to switch my Pokemon constantly for some leveling up. The only HM I truly admire is Fly. I always manage to transfer a Charmander to my newer gen games and teach it Fly as it evolves into Charizard. The only move I see no harm in letting it know
You think misty actually liked hanging out with Ash? (during recording) JWittz: that's brilliant! (during editing) JWittz: The pokeshippers are gonna come after me, arent they. Well shit *puts in little caption thingy* JWittz: that.. was close..
Too all those complaining of the new EXP share you can TURN IT OFF, if you didn't know. But you still don't turn it off because you know that if you do, you will bitch about having to grind harder again.
I also love exp share. It makes switching Pokémon halfway through the game fun and exciting rather than annoying. In the older games I never felt like I could go without my starter because it was so strong, now I can use whatever I want with hardly any grinding. And if you don’t like it, you can turn it off.
personally i love the new EXP share, i mean in Xenoblade EXP is shared between all characters and that games not easy, and it does not make it easy, it just makes it less of a pain in the ass
+shadowthephoenix1 Agree, it just make the game less annoying not easier. It is only easier if you abuse it like any item. Buy 100 hyper potion and the game is also easier.
If the game lowered the exp gained from battles to match I would agree but XY doesn't do that. The strategy was never present in the main series a lot, the challenge came from having to train your pokémon. The Exp. Share takes that away.
I agree with you on the EXP Share. Yesterday I spent most of the afternoon leveling up my team in Yellow and I had to level everyone up individually and that takes so long that it just got tedious after a while. I really do have a greater appreciation for the XY/ORAS EXP Share than I did before because it would've made that tedious task be a walk in the park in a quarter of the time it took me to get everyone from level 41 to level 45. (and I refuse to use my limited Rare Candies until I reach the Pokémon League!)
Trust me, training Mozu is nowhere NEAR as bad as many Magikarp Power characters in earlier FE games, who usually join extremely late in the game. The original one, Est, joined in Chapter 18 of 25, as a Lv 5 Pegasus Knight. Nearly all enemies are promoted by then. And that's not even getting into FE6 Sophia... Speed and Defence so terrible she dies to everything in her joining map. Which, by the way, is a Desert chapter... with Fog of War. And Wyvern Lords everywhere. AND Wyvern reinforcements. I tried to train her once and ragequitted out of it. With the right setup, it's possible to get Mozu to at least Lv 6 on her join map. (On Nohr, Effie's Pair Up bonuses are your friend)
SpninOutoCtrl Ross can get speed-screwed kind of easily though, as his speed growth is a pretty-shakey 35%. Other than that he's good. Funnily enough I always liked using Est in FE3, as her growths were so crazy (basically 70% everything) she'd cap everything every time. In the remakes she's WAY less useful since everyone else's growths were buffed and hers were nerfed. Sophia though... ugh. With her it's even worse, because the end result isn't even all that worth it: she ends up almst identical to Lilina, who joined way earlier, and even she has issues.
I'm playing through Revelation right now, and through some witchcraft I've made Mozu actually useable. Now she's running around with Killer Lances destroying all in her path. Good for her.
9:39 Except Mozu is a lot easier to level up compared to Donnel since the new Pair Up system can allow for guaranteed follow ups from fellow units. Wait, was this a Pokémon video?
The Eon Flute will always be my favorite. The music is cool when you play it, you get to ride Mega Legendaries, you don’t need the HM Fly, and the soaring music is awesome! Plus it’s cool finding all of the mirage spots.
The Bicycle segment was like listening to a commercial and I had to play it again and again and again. "The Bicycle. Gotta... Go... FAST! Bunny hops! One Million Dollars!" ~Priceless~
Thank God for Exp Share. I was so burned out on grinding after Black and White. Also glad I'm not alone in hating that dumb decision to get rid of the character customization.
I disagree. If you don't have to train then most of the game is gone. The amount of effort you have to put in to training your pokémon makes it rewarding to beat the gym leaders.
Love the Fire emblem reference and I know the pain of having to soften up people for Donnal and Mozu but in the end they will be one of the strongest in your party
Lucky Egg acts like the old Exp Share. And another thing you can do is to max out your Pokemon's affection in Pokemon Amie and that Pokemon will get more exp than normal.
+geekqueen2010 I thought the lucky egg just increased exp. I might be wrong but I remember the exp share splitting experience without you having to switch out and the lucky egg increased the amount of experience a Pokémon gets.
I agree that the Exp. Share is a fantastic item for postgame when you want to do quick EVing/leveling, but it really does make the in-game too easy when my Pokemon were consistently 10 levels above 99% of all battles in the game, and then the moment I turned it off they started to become 10 levels under.
its because they expected you to use it, i was way underleveled in X because i didn't use it, it was so bad, i had to grind for like an hour after korrina
R.I.P. Azure Flute - Super cool event key item never officially distributed. That tune it plays is still so eerie. And it summons Gods. So interesting.
If they didn't give every single pokemon in the party all of the experience from a battle I'd be more fine with modern exp share... maybe if each non participant pokemon got like 1/3 exp to balance it out.
6:06 Your dreams have come true in Sun and Moon, with the new Ride Pokemon, where you can summon Pokemon outside of your party to do things normally done by HM.
Surprise i didnt see Jwittz put the fishing rods, they let you catch water Pokemon that you could have never caught while surfing and the mechanics of the rods have evolved over the years
+Roxa The teams do get overlevelled, but it completely removes grinding. I think they're just on the verge of mastering the EXP Share gameplay mechanic.
+Roxa if I were GameFreak I would put 2 types of EXP share in the games, 1 that lets you level up a single pokemon and 2 the EXP share we have in ORAS and XY. that way everyone wins.
Sun and Moon got rid of the HM problem and has another item where U could call a Pokemon to do HM related things. That item also got rid of the need for a bike. Basically Tauros is bike, Mudsdale goes through rough rock, Charizard flies, Lapras surfs and more.
Hahaha. Yes that Mozu joke came out at just the right time. I already maxed out her lance to "C" across all three paths, and i'm just waiting until for promotion time. Listening to the GBA sounds in HG/SS in this video made me switch mine. Such as fantastic item.
I do remember hearing the Experience Share being a game breaker and immediately came up with the solution of switching between 12 Pokemon rather than sticking with 6. Fun new way to keep the difficulty while adding much more flexibility to my team! ^^
I don't like the new Exp. Share. It's so horribly broken. Even without trying, you just become overlevelled, and the game ceases to be a challenge in any way.
Fun fact about the modern EXP Share, coming to you two years after your complaint: The modern EXP Share functions almost exact like the EXP State's predecessor, the EXP All from Generation 1. Found via having 50 Pokémon at minimum registered as captured or owned in the PokéDex, you receive it by talking to one of Oak's aides. It functions almost exactly like the modern EXP Share. You have it in your bag, and the entire party will gain experience even if only one of them battled, and it can only be turned off by placing it in your item storage (remember when that was a thing?). So ironically, the modern EXP Share is just what the EXP Share used to be.
Honorable Mention to The Running Shoes. It is kind of trounced by the bike later on but it sure makes getting around quickly when you can't use your bike or you haven't gotten the bike yet.
I had a hard life growing up. My mother only gave me a small loan of a million dollars. All I could do with that was get a bike.
Lol
+Choice Snarf and then ash trashed your bike so you stalked him for the next 2 generations XD
+Choice Snarf It must of been so hard for you xD
You must be from post world war 1 germany
+Choice Snarf Haha
The best Key Item is definitely without a doubt the 'Rm.4 Key'...
+Truegreen7 XD why?
+Truegreen7 yessss
I get it
am i the only one who really likes the abandoned ship dungeon?
I prefer the Storage Key
What about your house keys
*THE EXPLORER KIT IN DIAMOND, PEARL AND PLATINUM.* That thing was amazing! It gave you access to some _really_ cool rare items, often before you can find them in the overworld!
And the worst key item, THE EXPLORER KIT IN BRILLIANT DIAMOND AND SHINING PEARL. Which takes everything you like about the underground and buries it.
I personally prefer the newer EXP Share, if only because it let's me reliably grind up six pokemon at once instead of just two. It makes it a lot easier to try new combinations of pokemon.
Memento Mori Exactly. Plus, it levels the Pokemon you never send out at first (Such as Goomy)
I will always use fly.
Always.
Two reasons:
1. I can't remember what town anything is in, so I gotta look at my map, and sense fly can take me to the town from my map, it's just faster.
2. There's something hilarious about battling someone, then just flying away. Especially when talking to them face to face, with a fast flying type.
has anybody ever actually bought a max potion?
I've never don't that I just buy hyper potions or full restores
Me two
+Thelegodeamon mewtwo
+Zer0 Zer0 Inc I do, usually only in the earlier games for the elite four, though.
I'm pretty sure that I have at some point.
I personally liked the gen 5 dowsing machine. the only generation I actually used it.
lasers?
+LilBruno Gen VI.
+LilBruno Same
+LilBruno I loved the one from HeartGold and SoulSilver. It felt like the most accurate to me, I didn't have to walk in circles to see where it was.
+K Murley I never got into the gen 6 ones
I didn't know GB Sounds was an item. That's awesome!
BRUH
wow
Really bruh
I didn't either.
Of course your people wouldnt kkow
The GB sounds is by far my favorite, I always have it on when playing Heart Gold
+The Pit of Randomness wasnt the sound thing in gold and silver too or is my mind playing tricks on me?
ChillaKilla tricks on you.
9:38 Remember in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance where you could assign bonus EXP to your units outside of combat?
Remember how you could totally break the game by dumping it all on Marcia? (Or, in Radiant Dawn, Haar)
+Tom Fawkes That's a thing?!
+BigKlingy If that's the case, then I'm surprised I don't know who they are.
+Tom Fawkes I miss that feature.
Do you think that would make the current games too easy?
Everyone knows that the Old Rod is the best Key Item. Because it gets you Magikarp, the most powerful Pokemon to exist!
^Just watch Dookieshed's video on Magikarp if you dont believe this guy.
Hey man good to see you
I love your vids
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
But... What about the Running Shoes???? oAo
+Jacob Kusmenko not key items
+Jacob Kusmenko ^^^ not just what they said but it was a key item once... so lol
+Jacob Kusmenko I never found a Running Shoes in Key Items, so Running Shoes isn't in the list.
Nope. Bike blasts that out of the water.
+Jacob Kusmenko bycycle replaces that ESALLY.
Aw yeah! I recognize that grimecraft pokemon track. it's lit
I need a small loan of $1,000,000... for a bike
+Luke Gosnell i need to small loan of a $1,000,000 to buy a mega stone in kalos
What kind of marketing price is that?
Fly and Surf are rather good HM's though.
"Breeding .."
*Brock appears*
I lost it right there
Lol.
You do know Brock is a pokemon breeder right?
teleportaat Yes, I am aware, but you know.
He always tries to get on with all the women. And breed.
+Trilluminati Israel That obviously was not implied
Jarek The Gaming Dragon That was what I understood it as, but I still love that.
The new EXP share is a godsend! 6:01 Gen VII has answered your prayers
I'm sorry purists, but I don't miss the hours of grinding back in old pokemon.
Wut
In Pokemon yellow you eventually get the exp share but that's like almost at the end of the game and even with it on it sucks it's better to turn it off
9:18 A lot of other RPGs give the entire party the same amount of experience. If its too easy, just scale HOW MUCH exp is given back a little, divide it up further like FF4.
I love the Fly HM as a battle move ._.
Yeah, especially in gen 1
I know this is a three-year-old post but WHY????
@@MrR-ns2ru because it's a good move.
+cowfish13 I feel like the old experience share was better, you could still have a pokemon piggyback experience, but it actually made you think about keeping your main pokemon at the same level

they need to be organized, you don't want to spread it all over the bottom of your bag.
God that is the worst thing ever

A pink Remoraid?! Oh boy, that's my *favourite* shiny Pokémon!
Who doesn't love pink Remoraid?
Hey JWittz! I remember that you talked about how it would be cool if you could pick what your profession could be in Pokemon (breeder, professor, contests) and it reminded me of a Pokemon fangame i am currently playing. +DERPUSLORD i know
+DERPUSLORD " Jeke "
+Jonah Bradley I wish I could travel back in time to when this joke didnt exist
+Jonah Bradley It's 1:Am, what are you talking about?
That fire emblem reference!!! It was amazing!!!
+Jay WingsOfFire I love the fact I just beat Birthright with Mozu in my team for the first time right before watching this
+Jay WingsOfFire And yet still not out in Australia....
TheDark4light censoring?
Honored Cur
Probably.... Youd think with all the deadly things here we would be more adult. Nope.
TheDark4light Even more ironic thinking of Australia's origins.
Well, aside from the obvious Mega Bracelet (which changed Pokémon forever in a good way), my favorite item is definitely the *VS SEEKER*! +Musomania27 Same here, along with Pokemon that can follow you.
Anjali Vaid How about a weight feature like with the Miis?
+Dexter Ferguson breast slider in japanese version. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Cousin Timbo Tousen Whaaaa???? Noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anjali Vaid can't you already do all of that in X and Y?
9:38 spoke to me on a spiritual level
I love how with each number, the Pokéball in your hand changes xD
+Nikki Doornberg They are in the order of his top 10 pokéballs, and they've been there ever since
I only noticed just now lol. I love little features like that :3
If You're playing Birthright...you don't get to complain.
+Dilbot The Robot yeah just finished conquest today and by the end Mozu's usefulness started to taper dramatically, especially compared to the kids.
The bike is best especially in gen 4 when walking was so slow.
Interestingly enough, I believe I was also hearing the Bike music from gen 4 playing in this videos background throughout the whole time (until sample GB music from HG/SS).
I don't know about you guys, but this video brought back the JWittz nostalgia.
I dont think its the exp shares fault, but more so the the trainers you face in pokemon oras and x&y needed to be a much high level to make the game more challenging
I don't want HMs gone, I want them deletable without the move deleter.
+Toadused2stink Productions Except for surf and the other single useful HM.
+Dustroier Justin H. I like surf, waterfall, fly, and strength.
Hoppiper26 you predicted the future show me your ways master
I actually really liked hms
As moves you mean? The gimmick was annoying.
Gen 1 grinding Magikarp...the pain...the pain...
+R カントウ even though there is a EXP share from oaks aid that acts as the gen 6 one
+R カントウ Day Care to 19 and 1 rare candy later Gyarados w00t w00t
Not for me.I bought my Magikarp for 500$ with the intention of having a Gyarados by Vermillion.yentlKing

Mhhmm
Who’s here after diamond and pearl remakes came out?
"If only it was easier for me to share my experience with you so I don't have to BABYSIT"
Me with Donnel in FEA
"...have some incredible effects on both your game and your story."
Intriguing Stone...
There's an EXP ALL in gen 1 tho?
Yes
JWITZZ IS A FRAUD
+TheBakaBob In the original Red, Blue and Yellow there are no hold items. The Exp All is a key item and is nearly identical to the Gen 6 version
+Michael Sims Yeah, in Pokémon Yellow
I was hoping someone would mention this. For all his complaining about things Generation 1 got wrong, it's odd he didn't mention that his second favorite key item was created there!
#EndHMSlavery
It has ended in gen 7 by introducing the rides
Rift To Go 🤠
For all of you complaing that the Gen 6, do you know how Experrience Share was called in Gen 1? It was called *Exp.All* guess what it did? Yes, it gave exp to *all* of the pokemon in your party.
True. But it wasn't nearly as broken. It very thinly disperses exp in red and blue.
CactusErebittsu and if Mintendo/Game Freak keep it like it is now, they should nerf it. That would fix most of the problems. That's what I hope atleast.
100% agree with your points on the Exp. Share and the Eon Flute!
The Lati@s flying music at night is just so soothing...
good list but...
ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY HELIX FOSSIL
Blessed is the name of our Lord Helix.
*Praise It.*
+Jackie Wilson praise
Sorry that's not a key item.
+jacobacon Fossils haven't been Key Items since Gen 3.
Wait a sec. Waterfall is a pretty decent HM move in battle.
Strength is pretty alright too
It's a alternative to surf.
I enjoy Waterfall because it's a good alternative to Aqua Tail on Azumaril and physical Wishiwashi. You're sacrificing 10 base attack (80 is still good) for guarenteed 100 accuracy, as apposed to 90/90
Surf is the best among hms
the mach bike in particular is the greatest of them all
The acro is second for me I like tricks, but I have fond memories of trying to get that perfect time and speed on the cycling road. Love speed
tekkara nah dude, that dick t the end always pissed me off enough to try again
Love the way you said "grinding" to share the experience points. It seriously bugged me tremendously to have to switch my Pokemon constantly for some leveling up. The only HM I truly admire is Fly. This video is one of your best, well done Josh! :D
Actually +TheJwittz , are you planning to do a Fire Emblem Fates video anytime soon? Because I would watch that so fast.
You think misty actually liked hanging out with Ash?
(during recording) JWittz: that's brilliant!
(during editing) JWittz: The pokeshippers are gonna come after me, arent they. Well shit

theJwittz you are too much sometimes! XD
Please do a Top 10 of your favorite Mega Evolutions Jwittz.
Yes! JWittz! Why haven't you done this yet?!?
Which is weird because every other famous PKMN channel has done it.
personally i love the new EXP share, i mean in Xenoblade EXP is shared between all characters and that games not easy, and it does not make it easy, it just makes it less of a pain in the ass
+shadowthephoenix1 Agree, it just make the game less annoying not easier. It is only easier if you abuse it like any item. Buy 100 hyper potion and the game is also easier.

SO THATS WHY MISTY WAS SO ANGRY AT HIM.
THAT THING COST HER $1,000,000.
EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE NOW.
That section about the bike was really well made! :)
I agree with you on the EXP Share.
Lost it at Mozu, Fire Emblem FTW
+Noah Hudson-Camack I know right? I was even thinking "like Fire Emblem" the minute he said "other RPGs do this". Then a second later, Mozu rant.
I LOVE the new exp share. Sure it makes the game easier, but you can always turn it off. Though a hard mode is very much needed.
+APC Urcle
Nuzlocke mode ftw
I just wanna say I love your editing effects when talking about the exp share
I agree Josh, we really need a Pokemon game based around Contests. If done right, and accessible to play, then it would be a great spin off.
It would be a nice change, wouldn't it?
9:39 Except Mozu is a lot easier to level up compared to Donnel since the new Pair Up system can allow for guaranteed follow ups from fellow units. Wait, was this a Pokémon video?

_Holy shit, your profile picture left me in stitches!_
Do the worst key items next that'd be fun
major keys to success
The Eon Flute will always be my favorite. The music is cool when you play it, you get to ride Mega Legendaries, you don’t need the HM Fly, and the soaring music is awesome! Plus it’s cool finding all of the mirage spots.
I adore the music
The Bicycle segment was like listening to a commercial and I had to play it again and again and again. "The Bicycle. Gotta... Go... FAST! Bunny hops! One Million Dollars!" ~Priceless~
the best way to grind is to sit in the forest killing boars
no small loan of a million dollars to buy a bike joke? really?
Thank God for Exp Share. I was so burned out on grinding after Black and White. Also glad I'm not alone in hating that dumb decision to get rid of the character customization.
I think it was omitted from ORaS because RSE didn't have it.
Customization felt like a chore to me. Just give me all the crap up front. There's no need to force the player to grind for such minor rewards
*****
So, you'd rather have less? Cause they're not making it easier. They're removing it completely.
Roxie ღ No I agree that removing it was stupid, but I'm saying that I personally won't miss it because I thought it was a chore.
Yeah, gotta agree. EXP sharing should be in every jrpg
Beats hours and hours of rotating party members and babysitting
+No_One Important That moment when you gotta babysit a fucking magikarp until level 20...
The 6th gen experience share should have been a post game item.
In my latest Y playthrough, I stopped using the EXP share. It was causing my Steelix and Florges to Overlevel while my Gardevoir lagged behind.
Notification squad
ye
yea yea
yeah yeah yeah
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
+Octonuggets Squirtle Squad?
I think the exp share should go back to working like the old one but they should have a post game item that works like the new one.
I had it off the entire time and I barely had to grind at all.
R.I.P. Azure Flute - Super cool event key item never officially distributed. That tune it plays is still so eerie. And it summons Gods. So interesting.
i don't understand why people say "first" before checking to see if other people already commented
First
its a meme
+DAWK LEWWIS like most other memes
+tranquil If you're early enough on a video the other comments don't show up so you think you're first.
+tranquil while you check someone will be commenting "first" first and you will lose
If they didn't give every single pokemon in the party all of the experience from a battle I'd be more fine with modern exp share... maybe if each non participant pokemon got like 1/3 exp to balance it out.

last time I came this early I made 2 kids and a lowly income.
K
That was a good one.
+Otaku Milkshake I am sorry for your loss....your income loss that is.
+Soloz Zerker Thank you, thank you.
6:06 Your dreams have come true in Sun and Moon, with the new Ride Pokemon, where you can summon Pokemon outside of your party to do things normally done by HM.
Surprise i didnt see Jwittz put the fishing rods, they let you catch water Pokemon that you could have never caught while surfing and the mechanics of the rods have evolved over the years
If only Fire emblem had the exp share...
Would be too op sadly
+E Davis i would be too easy IMO
Misty x Bike OTP!
I thought the EXP. Share in the newer games didn't split the exp, rather giving all pokemon full exp, leading to overleveled teams
it does.
+crazyjohnb22 it doesn't split xp
+Roxa The teams do get overlevelled, but it completely removes grinding. I think they're just on the verge of mastering the EXP Share gameplay mechanic.
+Roxa if I were GameFreak I would put 2 types of EXP share in the games, 1 that lets you level up a single pokemon and 2 the EXP share we have in ORAS and XY. that way everyone wins.
+Roxa It splits it up, with the active having a higher percentage, from what I can tell.
Nah man, the Soot Sack is the best Key Item.
+CommanderCorson Gotta get that furniture for the secret base....
i bet number 1 is the bike
Ur right
Lolz! XD I play Fire Emblem so I know that.
+alphahunterd Congratulations, you have officially beat the record of most apathy given.
Cactup I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm? :/ *confused
I died at that Mozu part. That was too real.
I do remember hearing the Experience Share being a game breaker and immediately came up with the solution of switching between 12 Pokemon rather than sticking with 6. Fun new way to keep the difficulty while adding much more flexibility to my team! ^^
Who actually checks trash cans? (I feel lonely)
I don't like the new Exp. Share. It's so horribly broken. Even without trying, you just become overlevelled, and the game ceases to be a challenge in any way.
Turn it off then.
+Jack Solus I feel like some people wouldn't even know you COULD turn it off. I mean, I did, but that's because I've played Pokemon games before it.
+MozillaVulpix thats idiotic, if someone turned it on in the first place why wouldn't they know how to turn it back off.
@@starling6113 thing is, the exp share was on by default upon receiving it.
pokemon aids...hehe
I see what u did there
+Passing Strange I don't get it.
Honorable Mention to The Running Shoes. It is kind of trounced by the bike later on but it sure makes getting around quickly when you can't use your bike or you haven't gotten the bike yet.
The poke flute plays a catchy tune... I can just imagine the pole flute being a smash 5 fighter: Poké flute, plays a catchy tune!
