Is great to see a real review of a comicbook, and not a overexagerated coment about the 29 variant covers
I'm intrigued for sure at the approach of this one. I can only imagine the X-men turning up at the end after she's overcome this villain and grief. The art and story has definitely won me around. Good review.
Looks different and really interesting.
Oh wow, look at that Silence of the Lambs variant cover, that’s so cool. And the premise of that story sounds great.
i just finished the first issue. I am very excited for the next one. I had to reread the first issue because it was so interesting. If the comics stay like this then I can honestly see this being one of my favourite superhero things ever made. 9/10
I really enjoyed it. I love all 3 ultimate titles.
Just grabbed issues 2 and 3 and added to my pull list. This was a helpful overview of issue 1. In with you man, the dissonance between the art style and themes is dope.

First of all, nice video!
Second, I think this is a good story but it doesn't look like X-Men at all, there's not even any references to the team, character or even the X-Chromosomes. This could be a good story, but is not X-Men, and as well I enjoyed it, i feel a little dissatisfied of using "X-Men" brand in this story.
Let's hope Issue #2 resolve the doubts we have now.

great art, interesting start, but did not feel like X-men. i loved the Krakoa era so was expecting Big.
Felt the same way , giving it a few more issues too see if it hooks me, but would’ve like a somewhat traditional “Xmen” story
I ended up really liking it. The only negative is that when you read the physical copy, the tone is ruined by how many ads Marvel shoved into it.

I have mixed feelings because I'm a x men fan and Armor is one of my favorites characters. Even the art was good it gave me a magna feel and not a comic feel. Also doesn't feel like its part of the same universe as Ultimate spiderman and black panther. I feel like its in her own world.

This seems perfect for Peach. As an artist I find her very hit or miss and feel she needs the right project to shine. Definitely giving her 3 issues to sell me on this long term.

Has anyone else noticed that ultimate X-Men.1 takes place in the wrong time? They state in the epilogue of Ultimate Universe during a news broadcast that the events of the first issue just happened the night prior but when you read that first issue it takes place 3 months later. I’m sure it’s probably just an editoral mishap or a way to tease what is coming but it was super confusing at first.
I picked up two copies of it, one to read and to set aside and I'm glad I did. I actually really enjoyed it. It's a nice change in my opinion.
I love Peach Momoko's work, so I'm on board for the ride.❤
This book is different and I like it. Excited to see how all the Ultimates gets combined. Could be a reach but would luv to see Peach bring in the Shadow King
I like this manga take on the X-Men
I'm new to comics I don't like anime or this comic now the ultimate spiderman was great. And I'm waiting to read ultimate black panther 1
I think this book will be a late bloomer. As I like to say, a good story, like business, is where you find it.
Man I thought I'd only be collecting Ultimate Spider-Man, guess I'm adding Xmen to the list as well.
I actually like the art style, yea it does have a manga feel, and the story sounds really interesting. But you’d never think this is an X-Men comic, it looks nothing like an X-book. Unless it has a huge shift in upcoming issues, but I don’t think Peach is a good fit for X-Men.

i want to see her get in cahoots with the ukiyo-e artist who was making major video game and comic characters in fuedal japan and do a whole series of comics. really would love to see her do ninja turtles as traduitional kappa fighting yokai.

Yeah, which makes me think this has to expand out from Armor to the rest of the X-Clowns. Team books need a team.

Being a fan of all ultimate universe, both old and new, i am really disappointed with the art. Not a fan of manga.

Marvel know what they doing, they def trying to make this ultimate rebrand more like a manga arm. Down to even the cover styles they are doing for all of them. Looks like they belong in the manga section of a book store.

Beneath the trees where nobody sees is my favorite book coming out by far. Ultimate X-men was not for me. Too much like a manga with no core x-men.
Marval really needs some better writers there are so many cool directions they could have went and they pick this crap .
The maker stepped on the spider he could have murdered the dream (professor x ) and mutants live in the shadows with no direction.

A Cyclops book isn't an X-Men book. Wolverine solo title isn't X-Men. It might be a cool book but it's wearing the wrong title.
