I owned a pitbull before I sold it (idiot decision!), and I have a Kemper and a 5150 now. I can say the 5150 and pitbull are basically opposite sounding amps! Never tried a deliverance however. May get synergy and try the deliverance module with it!
@@realtruenorth He said he was planning on making some new versions in the future one of the earlier podcasts they have on their channel. No news on it as of yet though. I know they're busy making Power Stations and other stuff.
Helpful amp review. I checked out the power tube config of each amp, and Eurotubes is showing an EL-34 kit for the Pittbull, and a KT88 kit for the Deliverance. This of course is not a concrete list of tube options, but nonetheless describes a power tube difference.
Key with the UL is having proper cascaded gain stages in front of it. I have an old Boss OD-1 that I run in front of the rhythm / lead channels with minimal gain, volume about middle. It adds a lot more “chewiness” to the UL’s dry-ish crunch and and boosts it slightly. Gives it a thicker, more 3D tone I’d akin to a Soldano. But still glassy and percussive which is what makes the UL great. I also use the graphic eq to cut some of the low mids to make it feel even tighter. I love this amp.
Man every time I listen to this video I'm amazed out how similar these amps sound. I've got a Pittbull 50CL that I absolutely love and have been looking at a Deliverance 60, but honestly I don't know if they're voiced differently enough to justify getting one, especially since I can throw KT77's in the Pittbull to get close to that KT88 power amp sound of the D60.
I have both Pittbull sounds so good, but the four button foot switch and the push in selectors on the amp are kind of a pain. Deliverance is awesome. I wish there was a middle ground amp, maybe I just need to make a single button foot switch for the Pittbull
Awesome!! I've got the pitbull synergy in the 50w head with the uberschall I love the setup so much, but I really want a deliverance I'm trying to decide if I go with the straight up head, or if I build up a rack with the syn 2 and a power amp
Hi,I have the SYN-50 head also and I have the Uberschall and Slo module.I was wondering what do you use for a Clean channel with that set up you have. Thanks
Hey man,so I know you love your Dover amp and I was wondering do you prefer the Dover amp or the Deliverance amp and are they voiced similar?.i used to have the Dover DA-20 and I’m now looking at the Synergy Deliverance as my next module.I did like the Dover and I do regret selling it but I’m hoping the Deliverance is very similar in sound.
Hey man! They don't sound all that similar, but there's a FEEL aspect that is pretty similar. I can't really explain it, but I think you'll like the Deliverance!
I need your help! I found a good deal on a Pittbull CL but also have a Synergy amp. Knowing what you know, would you get the amp or the module at about 1/4 of the price?

Awesome playing man. Can't wait to see what the Reissues of the Pittbull and Sig X are gonna sound like.
Any noise out there about these reissues? Or you just hoping Steve makes them? I hope he does, I will get one for sure.

@@brendanlucero8585 ok, I love the Fryette stuff I have so far,, amazing gear. It does anything and does it all well.
I emailed them a handful of times before I got a response last year. They’re planning on making pitbull reissues, just a matter of when

Both sound killer mate but that Deliverance has something in the high mids that makes it sound so up front and aggressive... love it
Love the Marty chops man! Great job. I'm one of the few who has just one, being the old VHT D60 from the first run with the choke.
That is such a sick tone man its really close to what I go for so you helped me pick what I'm gonna get I think
I have both

Great demo my dude! I’ve been after one of these amps for a while, just haven’t made up my mind on which one. But maybe the answer is both?
Really hope Fryette makes the Pitbull and UL amps again so great.
There is an interview on yt with "Kohle Audio Kult", in which Steven talks about a new PB in the making. Any day now. :D
I played the 2007 version of these and just thought when outerspace opens for soloist practice
Great comparison demo! Off topic but I know you’re a fan of Monuments like myself. If you haven’t checked out the new track yet it’s straight 🔥🔥🔥
You know I have! Definitely looking forward to the new album!!

Nice! I owned an ironheart and really liked it!
Are you using a boost in your signal or does the amp sound this mean on its own?
I pretty much always use a boost, I'm probably doing so here haha

They sound stiff and dry to me.
