It's hard to believe there are that many of these stories out there and I'm sure some of them are fake, and frankly, if you have a family like mine, it's hard to believe they're even true. However, finding out that some of my friends' families are genuinely not proud of their children no matter how impressive they are, or how hard they've worked, it doesn't surprise me that some parents actually do this. I could never imagine doing this to my children.
There is a few ways for how to see if it's AI generated. Generally just look for them repeating anything that was alredy stated several times and has no reason to be repeated like that, things that are very often same for stories like "We met at a cafe in the next town" which is in huge part of AI generated stories but easiest is to look for how many words that no one really uses, such as long, scientific or archaic versions of normal words and those words you'll usually only see in books
My mom & dad had 10kids.. There treated all of us the same; so it's hard for me to believe there are so many crappy parents out there too.. But I've know some people who's parents were just horrible; so sadly I believe this story..
I'd say 95% or more were fake - straight from the "creative writing for the terminally deluded" class. They've flooded RUclips with BS like this and it's the thin end of the wedge; RUclips is heading straight for the gurgler!

My father died a month ago. I love watching these stories about family drama, especially the ones about favoritism and unfairness, mostly because that’s how my family is. My family has so much drama and me and my sister in directly in the middle of all of it. This video was particularly deep for me because I have seen so many of these stories but I haven’t seen one where (most of) the family is trying to reconcile. I also can sympathize with the younger sister because I happen to be the favorite in my family and I hate it. It isn’t as severe as this but there are some little things here and there that show it. Trust me older/forgotten siblings, sometimes the grass ain’t greener on the other side. Now sometimes people are straight up spoiled and are dramatic but if your in the situation I’m in you’ll be surprised at how bad it actually is
